Retro Retreat - Warm & Cozy

Introducing Retro Retreat, July 2025! Step back in Time to the comfort of yesterday with this traditionally furnished 3 bedroom- 2 1/2 bath country home in Gunnison's prestigious Dos Rios subdivision. We welcome you and your pet for a wonderful family vacation experience close to the Gunnison White Waterpark and Hartman Rocks! You are in the heart of all that Gunnison has to offer.

The kitchen features a newer Range, OTR Microwave, Refrigerator, and Dishwasher. It is fully equipped with all cooking and serving needs—a large table in the eating area off the kitchen seats up to 10. Back patio out the kitchen door has a propane grill and smokeless fire pit and overlooks a large backyard.

Come in, take off your shoes, and relax as you sink into the softest couch you will ever sit in. The Great Room is equipped with a gas fireplace and a 55-inch flatscreen TV, wireless Internet is provided. You've never relaxed like this!

Head upstairs to the bedrooms
The primary bedroom has an en-suite bath with a walk-in shower and is furnished with a canopy king bed and a baby's crib. Bedrooms 2 and 3 share a full bath with tub/shower- king bed in bedroom 2, and queen in bedroom 3.

Home is located close to the public fishing and floating off of the Gunnison River or golf at the Public Dos Rios Golf Course. Boat docs and rentals are available at the nearby Blue Mesa Reservoir Marina. Crested Butte Ski area is a quick 30 mile drive.
Within Dos Rios subdivision, fishing is prohibited.

Our group of 4 came to town for hiking over the 4th of July weekend and had a wonderful experience! We loved having a kitchen to cook in that had many amenities (spices, cooking and bakeware, etc), grilling and having dinner in the backyard, reading quietly on the front porch and playing games in the evenings. Everything was clean and well-labeled so we didn’t haven’t to spend tons of time searching for what we were looking for. We originally booked the place because it’s dog-friendly, however, our beloved pup passed a few weeks before our trip, though he would have loved the space in the yard and observing the wildlife that passed through. We really enjoyed this trip and are looking forward to coming back again in the future!

An awesome location! Just minutes from the airport (with jets flying overhead just enough to be cool, not annoying!), close to Western, the water park/river, town and plenty of hikes/biking trails etc. House was a time capsule, Retro Retreat was a perfect name! Only amenity we could have used was a salad spinner, everything else was great! Fast reply when we asked questions and reasonable to work with! Great for dogs as well with a nice, green lawn. We saw mule deer as well as a bear from the property! No issues with the bear as the house was set up well to keep them out of the trash! Great table/patio out back where we ate most of our meals and rocking chairs out front for morning coffee! Close to Hartman Rocks, where our fav thing is to watch the sunset after a nice hike.
