We absolutely loved this sweet haven home away from home!! Kitchen was fully stocked with all the utensils and dishes a guest would need. The property was peaceful and relaxing and smelled so sweet with all the wildflowers blooming! All the little details in the decor was a delight. The area has so much to offer for hiking, kayaking and shopping. The trip around Lake Pepin has something for everyone.

If you want to go to Stockholm, Sweden, and don’t have the money for the trip, consider instead a trip to Stockholm, Wisconsin on the Mississippi river. We stayed at Sweet Haven a wonderful stay in what felt like a Swedish enclave of old buildings and a new energy efficient house that looks as old. I stayed myself in a small cabin. It had everything except running water, but it did have a sink and a cistern, and since I lived in a log cabin for 15 years without power, it didn’t bother me one bit. I had a wonderful stay, the rest of my family enjoyed their stay in the big house. I loved it. Two of the folks were from North Carolina. They were enthralled with everything that it provided. We hardly recommend sweet Haven for your vacation.
