Please note: The stairs are original and a bit steep, but there’s a comfortable main-floor bedroom available for those who prefer to avoid them. For the safety of our guests, there is a security camera posted by outside the front door.

Five friends used Salem as the launching pad food winery trips and hikes at Silver Falls State Park. Close to a grocery, good pizza, and walking. We all agreed the house was exactly as described—the host was quickly responsive to questions, if we ever came to Salem again, this would be a perfect revisit!

Deirdre was very helpful and responsive. The house was very clean; beds were comfortable, and the water pressure was awesome! This was the perfect spot to relax and decompress with my family while in town for a memorial. Would totally stay here again.

Very clean. Nicely decorated. Pet friendly, even had toys and treats for doggies. Great yard for kids or dogs. Host was very easily accessible. Great little restaurant called Annette's is easily within walking distance. As host mentioned, stairs to second floor are very steep. My husband and I, being seniors, used the downstairs bedroom and bathroom.

The home was just like the photos. Parking was easy, its a long driveway. The host was super responsive and easy to communicate with. It was hot when we were there and the upstairs got quite warm, as older homes are apt to do. It was a convenient location and fit our needs.

We rented this home for the weekend of our Daughter's wedding and it worked out perfectly. The bedrooms are roomy and the kitchen bigger than appears in the pictures. There is great flow to the downstairs rooms. We had 5-6 people each night. We were so impressed with the renovations which were done very well and the decor was perfect. Deidre was very responsive, polite and kind. We just loved our stay here and highly recommend it!

Unfortunately my family got sick so I didnt get to stay. My sister's stayed one night. They said the place was clean but they were only there to sleep one night. The Host Deidre is amazing! Great communication. Very kind! Hopefully I can rent again sometime so that I can see for myself
