With 1 king bed, 1 queen bed, 1 full bed, and 1 twin bed, this property can accommodate up to eight guests comfortably and offers a terrific stay. Relax in the living room with excellent Wi-Fi service and most streaming services available. An airbed, sleeping bag and comfortable sofa make for additional space. With a large dining area and fully stocked kitchen, you have everything you need to prepare delicious meals for the entire family. Enjoy the convenience of amenities such as a microwave, toaster, rice cooker and Keurig K-cup coffee maker. The A/C keeps you cool in the summer, and there is a washing machine/dryer combo, along with ironing board and iron if needed during your stay. The 2 bathrooms feature a shower and bathtub, towels and a hairdryer. Enjoy the large spacious yard, garage and RV/Trailer parking. Enclosed fence for pets. A Fire-pit on the outdoor deck, along with a new Bar B Que Grill and yard games complete the outdoor experience. Quiet neighborhood, close to hiking and OHV trails. Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish

Host or co-host will meet you at the property to collect the keys and garage remote and do a final walk thru for any items left behind.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Guests will be responsible for the costs of any damage to the property during their stay. Drain clearing, carpet stain removal or carpet replacement.
No illegal drug use on the premises.

This was a great place to stay! The property is absolutely gorgeous and the owners have updated and modernized almost everything (I believe they were ticking a few more off their list at the time of our stay). The home is a little outside of Bishop proper, but we loved the easy access to local trails.

Stayed for a week and it was very clean and pleasant. Kitchen amenities were great and we cooked half the time. Having a rice cooker was nice. The backyard was beautiful and perfect for our dog. Neighborhood was quiet and felt safe.

Owners description is deceptive. It doesn't tell you, or photo capture that his guest host is living in a trailer parked against the deck in the backyard, also 20 feet from the master bedroom windows. When we arrived he had laundry going in the washer and his puppy in the backyard. He also has several goats further back. This host told us he will need to be in and out of the house and garage... so you are in essence sharing the home and backyard with the host. None of this was disclosed. Otherwise the property is beautiful, well kept. The check in process needs to be improved. We gave the owner an arrival time, which he requested, but wound up having to locate his host in the backyard after waiting in the driveway for 30 minutes. Suggest he uses a lock box or method that doesn't require a face to face meeting for access. Because we found the shared host occupancy unacceptable we contacted VRBO and were granted a cancelation and refund.

From Bishop area. Semi-retired and I enjoy all the scenic beauty and diversity of the Eastern Sierra. Like being a Host to meet new people and introduce them to all that Bishop and environs has to offer.

Why they chose this property

The neighborhood is quiet and makes you feel close to the outdoors. Located on the hills above Bishop, you get a great view of the basin and golf course just minutes away. Far enough away for peace and quiet, but close enough to the quaint downtown shops and restaurants of Bishop.

What makes this property unique

The property is very large and spacious so you don't feel cramped like you do staying in downtown. The mountains and Rawson creek are a just up the street along with a working farm with fresh, organic produce open on weekends. Great hiking trails, OHV trails, and large enough for RVs and trailers.
