The Bend was extremely clean and very cozy! We stayed for a long weekend and cooked all of our meals at the house. The listing states it is a fully equip kitchen but that was not the case. We had pasta one night and they didn’t have a big pot nor did they have a strainer. The home sleeps 6 but only had 4 butter knives, no steak knives, 3 wine glasses, 5 drinking glasses and only 5 dinner plates. We made do but thought it would be good to mention so someone else can come better prepared. Overall the property was nice and we would stay again!

Why they chose this property

Most cabins in Hocking Hills require a steep gravel road, multiple levels, and a fair amount of planning just to arrive. The Bend is the opposite. Flat driveway, single level interior, 10 private acres, and a hot tub waiting when you get there.

It's also just down the road from Le Petit Chevalier Winery - the only winery in southern Hocking Hills - which makes it the obvious choice for anyone who wants nature and a glass of wine in the same weekend. That combination is harder to find than it sounds out here.
