We traveled from California to Northern Wisconsin to visit family, and this rental was a delightful find. The cabin is a really cute little house across from the lake. The house is older, but very clean and comfortable. The owners clearly take pride in their rental. Beds were fantastic. Washer and dryer (look brand new) was an added bonus; sitting out on the front deck was incredibly relaxing, and we saw the most phenomenal fireworks show over the lake for the 4th of July that we’ve ever seen. Boat ramp is right there if you are a fisherman! Supper clubs within a short drive. Just a marvelous time. We would definitely rent again!

We’re Wisconsin natives, and the Northwoods has always felt like home. We spend as much time as we can in the Hayward area with our family, enjoying everything that comes with Wisconsin’s changing seasons - from summer lake days, boating, fishing, and campfires to fall hikes and beautiful scenery, and winter days spent snowmobiling and ice fishing.

We especially love hosting at this cabin because it has the cozy feel and old-time charm of a classic Northwoods fishing cabin, while still offering the modern comforts and thoughtful touches we’ve added along the way. It’s simple, comfortable, and full of character - the kind of place that makes you want to slow down, kick your feet up, and stay awhile.

We love sharing this little piece of the Northwoods with others and hope it gives our guests a comfortable place to enjoy the outdoors, explore Hayward, and make great memories of their own. As hosts, we want you to feel at home and have everything you need for an easy, relaxing stay!

Why they chose this property

We love this neighborhood because it truly gives you the best of both worlds - peaceful Northwoods surroundings, a beautiful, clean lake, and easy access to everything the Hayward area has to offer.

For those who love to explore, area trails are accessible right from the cabin, making it easy to head out for snowmobiling, side-by-side riding, biking, hiking, and more. Private lake access and your own dock are just steps away, while downtown Hayward is only about 10 minutes from the cabin.

With great restaurants right on the lake, plus plenty of local dining, shopping, trails, and attractions nearby, there’s always something to do in every season. We love that you can spend the day on the water or out exploring, then come back to a cozy cabin, light a fire, and unwind.
