Our family had a GREAT weekend stay! The whole house is delightfully quirky and perfect for our family Mardi Gras celebration. We appreciated the welcome snacks and felt so comfortable all weekend. Plenty of towels, beds were super comfortable, kids LOVED the game room. The pool and view are fantastic and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook all our meals. Thank you for a great stay!

Our host was great! I had a few questions while we were at the property and they were answered very quickly. The place itself was very accommodating for our large crew. There was plenty of space and we never felt like we were on top of each other. If we were to revisit this area, I would definitely look into booking this place again.
There was a basket with a welcome note and chips along with a bottle of wine to welcome us upon our arrival.
The guys enjoying the deck. We even caught a few fish!
The kids enjoying spending time with each other.
The game room was a big hit. The kids had a blast!

We were a group of 14 women fresh off a cruise ship and unable to drive home due to inclement weather. The hosts were wonderfully accommodating including supplying 2 cases of water because they were concerned we wouldn’t be able to find any in the stores since all of Galveston was preparing for the cold weather. The house has a wonderfully quirky decor and suited us perfectly. Can’t say enough good things about our experience.

We had a spectacular stay! The house was clean, comfortable, and truly family-friendly. There were plenty of activities for kids of all ages—from games to outdoor fun—which made it perfect for our family getaway. The host was incredibly kind and thoughtful, leaving snacks for us to enjoy and always being available to answer any questions we had. We felt completely at home and had such a wonderful time. We’ll definitely be booking another stay here in the future!

Host was very welcoming and did a great job at making sure we felt comfortable. The house was clean, organized, and well stocked. The pool was also clean as well as the patio which was also very vibrant and beautifully decorated plus an amazing sunset view over the water. I also loved the interior design of the home and there were several fun activities to do inside as well so no one was bored throughout our stay. My family loved staying in this home and we would very much book again.

We had a wonderful stay. There was plenty to do on the property from a small driving range a mini golf pool darts, pool table even a basketball hoop inside not that that could be used but it looks good. There is plenty a room. Everything was just wonderful. The neighbors are very nice. It’s a very good neighborhood. Very peaceful at night. The only thing was is the kitchen was a little dated a small but who need to get you when you go to all that outdoor fun you won’t be disappointed I will be back again.

Property has an interesting eclectic decor, something different around every corner. Some of the pictures didn't pass our PG rating, for the kids with us and parents made adjustments. We were met with skeletons on the front porch since halloween had just passed. Easy entry instructions were provided with no issues. Our family enjoyed the game room and weather let enjoy games and visiting on the patio area. The fishing was a fun plus and caught and released several. Definitely a party house vibe in a nice area. Needs some work during the off season, mostly carpeting. Nice convenient pre cruise stay.

We loved the house! It has some awesome decorations that even that makes it fun to look at! The pool was awesome! The kids did not want to get out of it they were in there from morning to night and we enjoyed fishing. We actually caught a couple fishes! The house is really big with plenty of space for the whole family and lots of fun activities to do! Thank you so much for letting us stay at your home. We hope to come back soon !

The house was exceptionally nice, very unassuming from outside curb of hill. Once you come in, you can definitely tell it is a modern take on a eclectic sensibility. Much larger on the inside than it looks from the outside. The pool and outside patio area were fantastic, with a wonderful view of the water. However, it is listed as a five bedroom home on Vrbos listing, however, we were unable to find two bedrooms, we were only able to find three. The staircase going up from the main entrance to the upstairs bedrooms, we believe to be very dangerous. The paint used on the stairs are very slippery, and there is no handrail. I recommend putting in a handrail immediately, and putting some sort of grip pieces on the stairs to prevent slipping. Two of our guests, including my husband fell multiple times. The use of the jet skis would have been redemption for anything negative the house offered, even if the host charged more, we would have been happy to pay it. The Jacuzzi tub in the master bathroom did not work at all, we tried all combinations of switches and timers, but nothing. Also, the hot water heater does not seem to be large enough for a house of that size, so filling the bathtub only up a quarter of the way, ran the hot water heater down so much so we were never able to use the tub in the bathroom. The gas fireplace in the master bedroom in between the bedroom area and the bathroom area does not work at all. The addition of a hot tub near the pool area would be great.
