Rustic Cabin - Lakewood Lodge
Escape to a cozy, rustic cabin in Lakewood for a phenomenal retreat. Located behind the Lakewood Lodge and Restaurant, this adorable 2-bedroom cabin features 2 queen beds and 1 twin bed, perfect for a small group of up to 5 guests. Master Bedroom has a queen bed and private bath, with dual shower. Bedroom 2 has a queen bed, twin bed and attached bath with tub/shower. This bath has a second door for access from the open living area. For guests bringing ATV/SxS or snowmobiles, we have a trailer parking lot. Never a charge to park a trailer on our lot! For guests fishing or otherwise using the Upper Delaware Scenic and Recreational River, we are 10 minutes away from the Shehawken Launch, next to Crosscurrent Outfitters (Orvis Dealer) . Access from NY Route 17 is at the Hancock, NY Exit. If you need help or recommendations on a fishing outing on the Upper Delaware, we can help with information. For guests going skiing or snowboarding at Elk Mountain, we are approximately 25 minutes away. If you're traveling to the area from NY or New Jersey, traveling out Route 17 makes us on your way to Elk Mountain! After skiing, join us for a French Onion Soup and dinner in the Restaurant.

If you like to cook and eat in, the kitchen is fully equipped, with comforable seating around a unique slab table. We provide everything for coffee, spices and condiments are there for your use. If you'd rather not have to cook, our Restaurant is on the same property for Breakfast - Lunch - Dinner.

We have an LP Gas Propane Grill there.

Your host lives on The Lakewood Lodge and Restaurant Property, where there's also the main Lodge and Carriage House Apartments. I really like the location of this cabin, as it has a beautiful, covered back porch facing woods. Peaceful and serene, a great environment to read a book or just relax. I also like the single level living here. Once you're up the 4 steps to the entrance porch, the space is one one floor.
Why they chose this property
It's a country, luxury cabin feel, very close to the O&W Access from Lakewood Lodge. It's far enough away from the Trail that noise isn't a problem. It's the nicest lodging we have on this Property.
What makes this property unique
If you're looking to hike or ride on the O&W Trail, go skiing and snowboarding at Elk Mountain, visiting a Summer Camp, or fly fishing on Upper Delaware River Scenic and Recreational River, all are close to this property. Great for couples or a small group.
