This was a luxurious stay. The hosts have a lovely home and grounds. The room we stayed in was cozy and the temperature of the room was easily regulated. We LOVED the hot tub, the breakfast served by our hosts and the whole experience.
We loved our stay. Played pool, had a camp fire on the patio, enjoyed the hot tub. Lovely breakfast made by hosts, Julie and Ken great hosts. Lots of privacy. Great piece of property with a stream running through an and lush green yard. Highly recommend!
We enjoyed hanging out in the shady gardens. The hot tub was great and very hot! Although we only really saw them at breakfast, the onsite hosts were so nice and made sure we had what we needed and responded quickly.
What a charming little place to stay! Ken and Julie were excellent hosts and the little details were so welcoming. The bed is super comfortable, the daily continental breakfast is lovely and nourishing, and the grounds are beautiful. Highly recommend!!!
Julie and Ken are wonderful hosts, they welcomed us into their home with such warmth and kindness we felt right at home! They gave us a great walkthrough of the property and our room. We fell in love! The property and the room were all so clean and comfortable. We enjoyed every breakfast and loved sitting by the koi pond. The hot tub was sooo nice and relaxing after a day at the river. We loved it so much we decided to stay a few extra nights 🫶. We will definitely be back soon… thank you so much Julie and Ken
We had a wonderful stay at this property. The hosts were gracious, welcoming, and attentive throughout our visit. The home itself was beautiful and very well maintained. The hot tub and game room were excellent amenities and truly enhanced our experience. We would gladly return and highly recommend this property.
What a lovely experience! From top to bottom, Julie and Ken made the experience so wonderful. They put up a sign for our anniversary! Such a sweet touch. They very much respected our privacy and gave great recommendations. Breakfast was such a nice experience as well, felt like a true bed and breakfast. Would happily come again!
Wanted a nice getaway for the weekend for my wife & I and this was an amazing spot. Julie & Ken were great hosts and their property was beautiful & so relaxing. We will definitely be returning for another weekend getaway!
A perfect spot, wonderful hosts, great breakfast, private hot tub that is amazingly good, located in a sweet area between downtown Grass Valley and Nevada City, would stay here again.
This was a wonderful place to stay! The hosts were very welcoming and accommodating, kind and helpful. They provided breakfast each morning in their sunroom that looked out on their luscious yard. They paid close attention to detail... even had a welcoming banner saying "Happy 33rd Anniversary!"

Perfect place. I enjoy the stay
Very nice and welcome people. The best hot-tub I ever been. My preferred choice if I need to visit Grass Valley again.
With a cozy room for sleeping, a sunroom for relaxing and playing pool, a large patio with fireplace, a private hot tub, and a gorgeous garden and koi pond to enjoy, what more could you want? Gracious and helpful hosts? Done. If you are in the Grass Valley area and want a peaceful and private stay, this is the place! And you are offered a lovely continental breakfast each morning. We plan on staying with Julie and Ken again. One note: there is limited storage space in the bedroom/bathroom unit, so plan accordingly. Best stay we have had on VRBO yet!
Bear Den BnB is the perfect place for rest and rejuvenating. It is quiet and peaceful, out in the forest in nature. The hosts are two of the kindest people, and they are sensitive to the needs of the guests - a rare quality! You will be so pleased with a stay at the BnB!karen
the stay was excellent, their yard was fabulous with the water fall and koi fish and flowers. The breakfast was very good and the owners were very attentive to us. They told us the good rest. to eat at.
