This house has so much charm! The real wood floors, the claw foot bathroom, the kitchen that reminded me of my grandmas kitchen! The area is very quiet! Look forward to staying here again!
This was a perfect place to rest for an evening on our way north from FL. It was amazing to stay in a home that is over 120 years old. There's one thing you can say for this house and it is that it has character! The host, Elana, was great and made the check-in process super easy. The host also had no issue accommodating our request for fragrance sensitivities (thank you again!)We would have loved to book it again for our return trip, but unfortunately the dayes weren't available. But we will certainly keep an eye on this property in the future for return trips.
A great place for the dogs to stretch their legs while traveling. The home is very old, so don’t expect everything to be pristine. The beds aren’t particularly comfortable, and the sheets are microfiber, but considering the price, it’s hard to complain too much. The host was extremely responsive and informative, which made our stay easier. The home has beautiful stained glass windows in several rooms, and having onsite laundry was a convenient bonus. We enjoyed walking through the historic neighborhood and admiring the beautiful old homes. Dining options within walking distance are limited and on the pricey side. The surrounding area is an economically modest, urban neighborhood with a mix of historic homes and busy city streets. One thing to be aware of is that the property backs up to a busy road, and the train sounds its horn throughout the night, which can make sleeping difficult.Overall, a convenient and affordable stop for travelers with dogs who appreciate historic homes and don’t mind some noise and a few basic accommodations.
Another great stay. Very welcoming of pets. Great yard for the dogs to run around in after being in car most of the day. Clean, and convenient. Very nice and responsive owner.
I was great! We only stayed one night on the way to our cruise, and it was perfect for our family of seven to get a few hours of rest before continuing our trip.
The property was a comfortable and well outfitted. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again, if we are in the area. Our dogs really enjoyed the fenced backyard.
The home was really nice and had the vintage charm that I like. It was perfect for our one-night stay as we travelled on to our cruise. Even when the weather altered our plans, the hostess was very accommodating and did everything they could to assist us with our plans.
Great location for exploring the Valdosta historic district!

We didn’t use the kitchen. We arrived late and left early. The house had nice furnishings but it was a very old house with many things that need repaired.
