Perfect in every way!!
VERY nice place. Very comfortable. Located on a quiet street. Close to the center of town and lots of cenotes. The pool and patio is very beautiful. They even had a bananna tree out back. This place is very clean folks!! The owners are very helpful and will go out of your way to help you. We will for sure stay there again in a couple months. We just got back yesterday and already miss it!! Vivyana and Toon, thank you SO much.

This house is located on a dead end road and feels very safe. Viviana gave us very good directions but even so, we had trouble finding the place because it is so remote. But the remoteness gave us a feeling of being very safe. Viviana is a great hostess and welcomed us with lots of good information about touring the area. The pool was a perfect retreat from the warm weather. The rooms were very clean, modern, and comfortable--especially the beds, and well stocked. Our location was centrally located in town from great shopping and restaurants. We were very happy with our stay.
Wonderful
Great owner communication and helpful

Great way to start a vacation and explore the local sites
My family and I had the pleasure of staying at Casa Mango for 4 nights in August 2013. The family consisted of my parents, my wife, and my 20 month old son. When we travel we like to explore new places, but also try to have some comforts of home, especially with a little toddler. Therefore, we needed a place that had a kitchen, couple of bedrooms, etc. and decided that renting a house would be more useful than staying in a hotel -- and came across Casa Mango.
We stayed at Casa Mango at the start of a 2 week trip in Mexico and were extremely happy from the beginning. The property itself is very new and has all of the necessary comforts of home; private baths, new appliances, even a waterfall in the pool (which our son absolutely loved). It's located in a residential area, with a security guard at the entrance of the street, so it is very safe.
As for the owners, Vivyana and Toon were extremely responsive to questions, making the reservation, directions, etc and welcomed us personally upon arrival. They made sure we had everything answered about the house, the locale, our needs, etc.
We did day trips to Chichen Itza, Ek Balam, and Rio Lagartos (each on a seperate day), which worked out perfectly. We left in the morning before it got crowded or too hot and were back by lunch time at the house and the afternoon to explore the local town or hang out in the pool.
If you are looking to stay in Valladolid, we highly recommend Casa Mango. The location makes it ideal for day trips to all of the major sites as the title indicates. As for supplies, there is a supermarket (with everything you need, even TV's) around the corner and the main square only 3/4 mile down the road.
All the best

It was a great pleasure to host you in our new house. We are happy you enjoyed your time in and around Valladolid and hope to see you back one day.
Enjoy traveling, especially with your beautiful baby.

I was very impressed with the property and the location. The host greeted us on arrival and provided us with a wealth of information. I would definitely stay here again.
My husband, 11yr old daughter and myself really enjoyed staying at Casa Mango. The home is a 10 minute walk to the city center and is tucked away from busy roads and traffic. Easy travel to Chichen Itza, many cenotes, supermarket, and a city that has everything you need. Also great to just stay at the property and enjoy the pool. Great shade in the yard to beat the heat. Vivyana is extremely helpful and has great suggestions for activities, food, laundry, etc. Only stayed 2 nights this trip and would definitely come back!

Lovely place to stay in Valladolid
Beautiful house and garden. The pool and garden area were wonderfully refreshing after a hot morning at Chichen Itza. Vivyana provided excellent information about where to shop, dine, etc. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you would need for a visit and the bedrooms are well.
The bedroom air conditioning worked well and cooled the rooms quickly. More fans or a cooling unit downstairs would be nice - but we visited in late April so it's probably not as hot in the "high" season.
Thanks for sharing your wonderful property.

Beautiful, immaculate home with perfect little pool and kind hosts
This home was the perfect spot to enjoy a few nights in Valladolid - a lovely city - and provided us an easy drive (40 mins on the non-toll road) to Chichen Itza. Our hosts could not have been kinder and the welcome drinks in the fridge and staples in the kitchen like coffee were a really nice touch. We enjoyed the pool and private backyard - a shaded, relaxing place to retreat from the heat. Great for families - wish we could have stayed longer!

Excellent house!
Amazing place; it has everything you need (even coffee!), a great pool in the garden, spotlessly clean and well situated within the town. The only downside is the loud live music at nights. It’s in a quiet part of town but there’s some kind of club or music venue at the back and the music goes late. If you’re a light sleeper it’s not for you! Vivyana is an excellent hostess; friendly and full of advice on what to do and where to go. Definitely follow her cenote tips!

Great house for family fun
Our family of 4 had a great stay here. Vivyana was very helpful and close by in case something happened. The place is very spacious and has everything you need to have a comfortable time cooking and lounging. Hammocks galore and the kids really enjoyed the swimming pool. The beds are excellent and you can quickly get to the main Playa as well as other tourist attractions.

Wonderful stay at Vivyana’s In Valladolid!
We really enjoyed our 3 night stay at Vivyana’s place in Valladolid! Viviana was incredibly warm, generous and helpful. She lives nearby and runs a tour company so she’s an expert at helping visitors navigate her town. Though we didn’t try her tour company (we had our own rental car), we loved all of Vivyana’s recommendations for restaurants and sightseeing. We especially loved her favorite cenote Oxman; it was gorgeous and became our favorite as well! The house was well equipped and had 2 bedrooms and 1 full bath upstairs and a half bath downstairs, plus a private pool (unheated but perfect on a hot day) outdoor table and lovely hammocks. Valladolid is a really sweet town and we had a wonderful time. Thank you Vivyana!

Excellent stay
This is an excellent house. Many places look nice on the pictures but are not exactly what you expected when you get there. This is very different with Casa Mango. It exceeded our expectation and we felt very comfortable to stay in the house. It was more than just a place to sleep. Vivyyana gave us some great tips so that we also enjoyed Valladolid. Highly recommended. If you plan to go to Chichen Itza, think about staying some extra time in Valladolid and consider Casa Mango. Although the house is not directly in the center, it is not far. It is close to a big super market with ATM, which makes it convenient.

A beautiful, clean home in a quiet neighborhood with a lovely host
Vivyana was a wonderful host. She got in touch with us immediately, sent helpful information ahead of time, and met us the evening we arrived. She gave great suggestions about things to see and places to eat and explore in the area, including a lovely cenote just outside of town. She was very gracious and generous with her time giving us advice about how to best organize the trips we wanted to take to Chechen Itza and Coba. There is so much to do in this area we spent very little time in her beautiful house. When we were getting ready to leave, we were having trouble with our arrangements for the place where we were supposed to stay next, and Vivyana helped us call from her cell phone. I would love to stay with her again if we are able to return!

Great stay in this sweet home
My family visited Valladolid as the first leg of our Christmas holiday and I am SO happy that we chose Casa Mango as our home base. Located in a great residential area the house was the perfect place to relax after a full day of touring and sightseeing. We adored the town of Valladolid and found it so easy to navigate, the hustle and bustle of the city center was close but the house was tucked away enough to be a good place to recharge. Vivyanna was the absolute sweetest, she even decorated and put up a tree for Christmas, something that made the kids so happy. Loved all of her suggestions for us and communication before, during and after our stay was superb. We did two tours with Toon's company and they were also fantastic! We enjoyed being in an actual neighborhood and hearing the sounds of every day life going on around us, music and gatherings and so forth, all ending at a reasonable hour and leaving the evening nice and quiet for a good nights rest. The beds were comfortable, wifi was good, the backyard was a wonderful oasis and we had all that we needed to cook most of our meals at home. Thank you for such a great stay, we so enjoyed exploring all of the ruins, cenotes and other sites within driving distance!

Lovely property - great manager
As soon as we arrived, Vivyana was there to greet us. This is something that had only happened in one of our previous VRBO experiences. They had prepared a map of the local area with favorite places marked, and told us all about the house, transportation options, and even had welcome beverages waiting in the refrigerator for us! We felt safe walking in the area as well.
All in all, it was a great experience.

Great Place to Stay in Valladolid
Our family of five (two adults and three kids, ages 9-13) stayed here for four nights in August. There is so much to do in this area that we could have easily stayed for another four nights or more. This is the perfect place for a family or a couple who likes to have lots of space. It's tucked away on a very private street and the location is superb. We had a car and drove the few blocks to the main part of town, but it would have been a nice walk during the day. It's also very convenient to the main grocery store. I would absolutely recommend this stylish and modern townhouse and may even be back for another stay because there's so much we wanted to do but didn't have the time. Vivyana is a gracious hostess and a wonderful tour guide. I would highly recommend the GoMaya bike tour with Mexigo.

Worked well for our needs for 5 people
Casa Mango, here’s what we were looking for and how things worked out.
Beds: We wanted a queen-sized bed plus 1 bed for each child. Casa Mango provides a king bed in 1 bedroom (plus a twin bed not used by us) then in the second bedroom provides 3 twin beds so each child had his own bed. Beds were also comfortable. AC in the bedrooms worked well. There is a toilet on each floor.
Things to do: We spend 5 nights here so wanted a place with plenty of good attractions within a 1 hour drive. There were many things to do so we did not run out of sights to see.
Relax space: We had just been hitting the ruins in the western Yucatan pretty hard, so we knew we would have a couple quiet days. Casa Mango provides 2 separate outdoor spaces for sitting, a large eat-in kitchen area, and then a front living area for relaxing. The 2 bedrooms upstairs allowed late sleeping in for those who needed it. The street is quiet and upscale, probably one of the fancier streets in town.
Easy in and out: At the end of the block is the main road leading north to the ring road and the tollroad. It’s easy to drop in to Casa Mango and then get out this way. We had a 3 pm flight out of Cancun and did not want to waste the last night of our vacation re-positioning to a hotel near the airport. We were able to leave Casa Mango at 9:30 am, stop for airplane food at the Subway just north of the airport access road, then return the rental car and check for the flight without rushing at all. Perfect.
Unexpected positives:
Toon met us on arrival (unusual for a prepaid rental) and later that night Vivyana came by to give good advice on things to see and how to find a good laundry (easy and cheap). They were also of great help New Year’s Eve when nearly every restaurant is closed 5-10 pm and called around to find one that was open, El Atrio, which was a great final dinner for our vacation, perhaps our best meal in Mexico.
Valladolid: I was afraid that this was a spoiled, touristy town but it is large enough that the tourists that hang out around the square do not affect the city as a whole. Valladolid is a very authentic, prosperous Mexican city.
Last comment: We ended up driving to get to things in Valladolid more than we anticipated, but parking on-street is easy.
