Make Outpost Lodge your home base for exploring the UP and Pictured Rocks! This fully remodeled 4-bedroom, 2-bath home features a modern kitchen, cozy fireplace, and a large private backyard with deck and fire pit. The bedrooms on the main level have a king and queen bed.  Upstairs there are 2 more rooms with a queen bed each.  There is also a pullout couch.  Located next to the Northwoods Outpost (pizza, pasties, ice cream) and just one block from AuTrain Beach on Lake Superior. Plenty of parking for trailers—perfect for ATVs, snowmobiles, or boats—and only minutes from Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore.

This was a wonderful property. It was clean and well maintained. It provided plenty of space for our group of 6 with more space to spare.

The property was exceptional. We had 5 women in our party and we stayed 5 days. Very easy check-in. The hosts maintained communication to be sure we got into the home ok. If we had questions , the response was quick. The hosts were very kind. Everything was clean, the amenities were well supplied and the sleeping arrangements very comfortable. Great area in the back yard which we used each morning for coffee and breakfast. Location was centrally located for what we wanted to see. Shores of Lake Superior within walking distance. The Northwoods Outpost next door has fabulous food which we took advantage of. If we are in this area again we would definitely come back. It was a wonderful home to come back to each day.

Loved this location. Easy access to the beach and kayak rentals. Clean and well stocked house. We will be back next time we are in the area.

Newly remodeled property. This property is amazing and has well thought out finishes. Very clean and well stocked. Also, great location! Walking distance to the beach. We will be staying here again!

3rd Generation Family run resort! My grandparents bought the resort in 1970 and my mom took it over at the age of 18! My husband (Jake) & I bought the resort in April 2017! We love the UP and are proud to carry on the family Tradition!
