Our stay in this home was excellent. We were very well taken care of - the host was very responsive to all our needs. The house couldnt have been more perfect - very large and everything we needed. The location was great, less than a half an hour from most everything in the Tampa area.

AMAZING! Views are amazing, the house is amazing, the pool/hot tub is amazing. Beds are large in comfortable and you can see the lake from every room upstairs. Such a beautiful house on a dead end street and a nice family neighborhood. Also, a few short blocks to the Casino and easy access to get anywhere. Close to state fairgrounds which has several outdoor shows all year long and an amphitheatre for major bands. Owner is very responsive if you reach out to him. One of the best if not the best short term rental we stayed at. Will definitely stay again, look no further.

in town for soccer tournament

it was a great place to stay, close to a nearby soccer field complex, and not far from downtown tampa.we really enjoyed the pool, travelled to tampa beaches or walked downtown wharf but then came back and spent most nights next to the pool while the kids ran around

Do not judge a book by its cover! As others have said, was a little worried by the surrounding homes; however, pleasantly surprised with the interior and the accommodations. Worked out great for our stay with grandparents. Child played at the Tampa Sportsplex only 12 minutes away!

The property was nice, great location for our trip! Just a few things that stuck out, the room with the 2 beds, the one bed that has the tracks above it was full of cobwebs/spider. I understand its in Florida but it looks like it had been there awhile. The pool was nice but dirty the firat day we were there which was the nicest, pool guy showed up on friday to clean and add chemicals so we couldn't use it over half the day. The notes left in the house for garbage details were not the same as what was emailed to me, that was confusing. But otherwise thw house was amazing! We had a great time and would recommend it to others.

Weekend Family Getaway

This property was amazing. A little worried when we drove up, but the house was absolutely wonderful inside. There was more than enough room for our family of 8. There were so many areas to gather and hang out, which was great since we had adults, a teen, and little ones The house had great views and very well stocked. We would definitely rent this again.

This was a very nice place to stay if you remain inside. The bedrooms were great, it was very clean & very comfortable with everything you need. It was close to the amphitheater & hard rock which was very convenient. It was not- so-perfect outside due to some dead, floating smelly fish on the lake & very hungry buzzards having a feast. That was disappointing & I’m sure it was just bad timing but it was nasty nonetheless.

When you walk into the property you gain an amazing view of the lake and private beach. The house itself is nice and wide open and has the most amazing kitchen full of all the supplies you could ask for. The owner pays attention to details such as labeling all of the cupboards so you know which one to open for the utensils you need, etc. The pool is amazing, clean and warm with ample seating for everyone and then some. The private beach was an added bonus and we did enjoy a beautiful sunrise with a cup of coffee. One of the best owners I have ever dealt with. Very responsive to any questions, willing to give suggestions of where to go, and friendly. Quite possibly the best weekly rental I have ever stayed at. Would highly recommend it.

Beautiful Lake Home

Flew to Tampa from Altoona Pennsylvania to gamble at Hard Rock with my husband and mother in law. House was so nice and fully stocked with everything we needed for our stay. The pool was awesome - very warm! Waking up to the birds and sitting outside watching the big white pelicans on the lake was a treat. So were the daily visit from the duck with the funny tail and his black duck friend. He ate crackers out of my hand! The house has tons of outside seating and lounge chairs around the pool too. It has a huge kitchen table, BIG TVs and very comfortable beds. Our gambling didn't go so hot, but we sure had fun trying. We'd like to thank the owners for the bottled water, their hospitality and letting us have our 4 days of fun in the sun while hitting Hard Rock Casino. Would recommend a stay there to anyone!

Wish I Could Give 6 Stars!!!

Don't even know where to start. We came in town for a Bucs football game. Tim and Sutton are AMAZING. The process itself was so stress free and wonderful. The place is gigantic in real life and all the beds/couches are incredibly comfy. The views are unreal and I have some of the best sunrise photos I have ever taken. We very easily fit 5 large adults and there is definitely room for more. Everything is labeled so you don't have to go searching for things, and they made sure you have everything you would need! The backyard space is somehow even better than the house itself! The pool area is so spacious and lost of seating for relaxing outdoors. I 1000% will be staying here next time we need to stay in Tampa! Thank you guys!!!

The good, the bad and the ugly

Good: house pretty clean and owners very responsive to emails, phone calls and text. Bad: no hand soap in rest rooms, no wash clothes, no paper towels. Food left in refrigerator from last guest. Trash in trash can. Ugly: pool area and pool dirty. Owner did have someone come clean it right away. The pool man said the pool hadn't been cleaned in a while, he did a fantastic job of cleaning it so we could use it. Master bath shower doesn't drain and leaves bad mildew smell.

Joyce, we're glad you enjoyed the cleanliness of the house and the homeowner's prompt replies. The property is stocked with washcloths and paper towels, but we apologize if you had trouble finding them. The complimentary condiments in the fridge are intentionally left by the owner as a courtesy because past guests have requested these items. We can confirm the pool was professionally cleaned the day before your arrival, but the heavy rainfall caused pollen and debris to fall into the pool. We understand the pool cleaner came out the next day to clean this up. As evident in other reviews, past guests regularly have five-star experiences and we are confident future guests will have exceptional stays! Best, the Evolve Team

The pool was still filling when we arrived and was cold. Pool bottom needed to be vacuumed. Pool area and furnishings were dirty. The smell of the inside of the house was musty; we bought plug-in air fresheners. Stained curtains in master bedroom. Windows in dining area didn't lock. Door in living room had gap that didnt look like it locked. On the first night after maintenance arrived to increase temperature on the pool, the front door was left unlocked along with the fence entrance and door to the pool area was unlocked. The floors were exceptionally dirty, the first morning within 30 minutes of showering and only walking indoors, the bottom of my feet were black. The house isn't being cleaned very well between guests.

Hi Kurt, this homeowner works hard to provide an ideal stay for all guests, and they would like to clarify the following: - The pool timer is designed to maintain the water level and refill as evaporation occurs this is imperative for the pool equipment to run properly. -The pool is expertly cleaned every week to ensure pristine conditions. While the property’s private sand beach and occasional winds might introduce a few grains of sand, it remains in excellent shape. After a thorough inspection by our professional pool cleaner, it was verified that the pool is clean, crystal clear, and beautifully blue, despite claims that it was green, dirty, and needed to be vacuumed. - Also, the pool was found to be 80.7°F upon inspection, which is within the normal range. However, the temperature was adjusted to a higher temperature as requested. - The exterior pool furniture and interior of the home are cleaned regularly. The cleaning team will review these areas to ensure they meet guest expectations. - The windows are designed to open partially for safety. As is evidenced by the many great reviews, these owners are accustomed to providing positive experiences, and we look forward to this property hosting many happy travelers.
