Fiddler’s Beach House is a stunning, fully appointed waterfront retreat perched along the Tolomato River ecosystem in St. Augustine where salt marsh, intracoastal waterway, and ocean converge into one of the most scenic settings on Florida’s northeast coast.
Thoughtfully designed for groups up to 10, the home spans three beautifully appointed levels, all connected by a private in-home elevator a rare luxury that makes this property as accessible as it is impressive. Whether you’re traveling with grandparents, young children, or simply prefer to arrive at the top floor in style, the elevator sets the tone for the kind of effortless vacation this house delivers.
Step out onto the upper balcony and let the view do the rest: sweeping panoramas of the marsh, the intracoastal, and the Atlantic beyond, all framed by native wildlife. Blue Herons glide low over the water. Snowy Egrets pick their way through the marsh grass. The occasional Roseate Spoonbill drifts past in a flash of pink. And down below, the fiddler crabs that give the house its name continue their endless work along the tidal edge a small, living reminder that you’ve arrived somewhere genuinely beautiful.
The beach is a 4-minute walk (0.4 miles) to Surfside Beachfront Park, and Downtown St. Augustine, one of the oldest and most captivating cities in the country, is just 3 miles away. At Fiddler’s Beach House, you don’t have to choose between the water and the culture. You get both.

THE SPACE
Third Floor — The Heart of the Home
The top floor is where the house truly opens up. A soaring great room anchors the space, flowing into a chef’s kitchen outfitted with professional Monogram appliances, an induction range, and everything you need to cook seriously or entertain effortlessly. A large dining area seats the whole group, and a half bath and laundry room complete the level. Step outside onto the balcony for your morning coffee or an evening glass of wine as the marsh glows gold at sunset.
Second Floor — Rest and Retreat
The primary suite is a true sanctuary: a king bed dressed in quality linens, a spa-style bath with a soaking tub and separate shower, and a private balcony overlooking the intracoastal waterway and marsh. A quiet reading nook and dedicated desk make it equally suited for rest or a remote workday with one of the better views you’ll ever work with. Two additional bedrooms share the second floor, one with a queen bed, one with two twins, along with a well-appointed shared bathroom.
First Floor — Casual Comfort and Beach-Ready
The ground level is designed for easy living. A queen bedroom with a flat-screen TV and a fold-out sofa (memory foam mattress) offers flexible sleeping for larger groups. A second mid-size refrigerator, a full bathroom stocked with fresh beach towels, and direct garage access make coming and going from the beach seamless. A Weber propane grill and Kamado Joe smoker are stored in the garage and ready to roll out to the driveway whenever the mood strikes, perfect for a fresh-catch cookout or a long, lazy smoke session. A private porch opens toward the salt marsh for one more quiet corner to enjoy.
Everything you need for a perfect beach day is already here: Tommy Bahama chairs and umbrellas, a beach wagon, paddle board, coolers, beach toys, 4 bikes, and a full pickleball set. The community park features basketball, tennis, and pickleball courts.
