Very beautiful location!!! Only drawback was the table chairs in balcony being so high that it felt risky for our kids to sit on them alone. And dishwasher never worked. Other than that it was great experience.

Place was clean and kitchen fully stocked along with extra towels (including beach towels), some fun beach toys (boogie boards, snorkeling fins and masks) and beach chairs. I asked a question (or two) prior to check in and didn’t receive a response and then after we arrived, communication was much better but it’s pretty bare bones service. Overall we had a great time but do note that this area of Maui is not a touristy area so there’s not a whole lot around (other than a few shops and the Maalaea Harbor). This harbor is where we departed from for a Molikini snorkeling trip so it was nice to be less than 5 minutes from that but otherwise, everything is at least 15 minutes away by car. As others noted Haycraft Park is right next door and it feels very isolated and untouched except for a few tents of people right at the beach entrance. The vibe was more family oriented but I still didn’t feel comfortable going on long beach walks by myself in the morning without my husband. We saw lots of turtles in the water in the park and from our condo balcony which was fun. Overall this was a good value but you just need to know what you’re getting.

Aloha Melissa! Mahalo for your detailed review and feedback regarding your stay. We're glad to hear you enjoyed the cleanliness of the property, the fully stocked kitchen, and the thoughtful extras like beach towels, toys, and snorkeling gear. It’s wonderful that you had a chance to experience the turtles and the proximity to Maalaea Harbor for your snorkeling trip. We sincerely apologize for the initial lapse in communication prior to your check-in. After reviewing all questions sent through VRBO between May 10–19, it appears there weren't any missed responses. We take communication seriously and ensure we have done our part to respond to any questions you may have sent through the VRBO platform. We appreciate your insight about the area’s quieter, family-oriented vibe and its distance from other attractions. Your observations provide valuable context for future guests seeking a more tranquil and less tourist-driven experience. Mahalo again for staying with us, and we’re happy to hear you found value in your visit. Should you choose to return, we’ll strive to make your experience even better.
