Welcome to Daisy Bay Lodge — Your Private Lake Vermilion Retreat
Welcome to Daisy Bay Lodge, a beautiful lakefront retreat nestled on the prestigious Daisy Bay shoreline of Lake Vermilion in Northern Minnesota. This newer custom lake home was designed for guests seeking the perfect combination of relaxation, adventure, comfort, and connection. Whether you are planning a summer boating vacation, a world-class fishing trip, a winter snowmobile adventure, a family gathering, or a peaceful wellness getaway, Daisy Bay Lodge offers an unforgettable experience in every season.
We chose this property because of the feeling it creates—the peacefulness of Lake Vermilion, the towering pines, breathtaking sunsets, and the ability to truly slow down and reconnect with nature. Our goal was to create a retreat where families and friends could gather, relax, and make memories together. From morning coffee overlooking the lake, afternoons on the water, evenings around the fire, and quiet nights under a sky full of stars, this is a place designed to help you escape the pace of everyday life.
Lake Vermilion is one of Minnesota’s most treasured destinations, known for its crystal-clear waters, rugged pine-covered shoreline, hundreds of islands, and incredible outdoor recreation. The lake is famous for world-class fishing, including walleye, muskie, bass, northern pike, crappie, and perch. Guests can enjoy boating, swimming, kayaking, paddleboarding, hiking, wildlife viewing, snowmobiling, ice fishing, and the possibility of witnessing the Northern Lights dancing across the night sky.
Daisy Bay Lodge offers 150 feet of private shoreline and comfortably sleeps up to 8 guests. The property features two private docks, multiple outdoor gathering areas, a lakeside fire pit with Adirondack chairs, cozy gas fireplaces, a private sauna, hot tub, fitness room, and thoughtfully designed spaces for guests of all ages.
What truly sets Daisy Bay Lodge apart is the rare combination of peaceful lakefront privacy and convenient access to local attractions. Guests are within walking distance of The Vermilion Club Restaurant (“The VC”), The Tavern in the Bay Restaurant, and the brand-new pickleball courts at Greenwood Township Park & Recreation, which also includes a children’s playground, basketball court, and tennis courts. Pier 77 Mini Golf is only a 4-minute drive away (don’t miss their famous soft-serve ice cream!), and Fortune Bay Casino is just 9 minutes away. Outdoor enthusiasts will love the easy access to Minnesota’s incredible ATV, hiking, and snowmobile trail systems.
The home features three comfortable bedrooms. The primary suite includes a king-size bed, dresser, bedside storage, ceiling fan, and oscillating fan. The second and third bedrooms are designed for families and groups, each offering a queen bed, two bunk beds, closet organizing systems, vanity areas with makeup lighting, blackout shades, fans, and extra blankets and hangers.
The home includes two full bathrooms and one main-level half bathroom. Bathrooms are stocked with towels, beach towels, hair dryers, hand mirrors, makeup towels, wet wipes, mouthwash, hand soap, floor mats, and non-slip mats. Please note there are no bathtubs, but a toddler portable tub is available upon request.
Guests enjoy two spacious living areas. The main-level great room features a leather sectional, swivel recliners, Smart TV, fireplace, and beautiful lake views. The lower-level family lounge includes a large sectional, Smart TV, full kitchen, and a dedicated game area. The home also offers multiple dining spaces, high-speed WiFi, streaming services, cozy blankets, and a washer and dryer for your convenience.
The outdoor experience is what makes Lake Vermilion unforgettable. Enjoy two private docks for boating, fishing, swimming, and relaxing by the water. Spend evenings around the fire pit with unlimited firewood and six Adirondack chairs, gather on the deck with a gas fire pit, or relax on the lower brick patio overlooking the lake. Additional outdoor seating includes lounge chairs, AntiGravity chairs, and a two-person rocker. The property also includes unlimited parking with space for recreational vehicles, a fish cleaning station, and direct lake access.
For those seeking wellness and relaxation, Daisy Bay Lodge offers a private sauna with eucalyptus aromatherapy, a covered five-person hot tub, a professional massage table with hot stone therapy, a two-person hammock, and a dedicated fitness room. Guests can enjoy four kayaks, two paddleboards, lake floats, inflatables, and life jackets available for men, women, and children. Life preservers with attached ropes are located at both docks. For safety, children under age 10 should always wear a life jacket when outside near the water. All swimming and water activities are at your own risk.

Lake Vermilion is often called “The Lake of the Sunset Glow,” and it is easy to understand why. With more than 40,000 acres of water, over 365 islands, and 1,200 miles of shoreline, the lake offers endless opportunities to explore secluded coves, sandy beaches, and breathtaking scenery. Located near the edge of the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness, the region offers a unique blend of wilderness adventure and modern comfort.
Nearby attractions include Giants Ridge Ski Resort, approximately a 35-minute drive away, offering downhill skiing, snowboarding, Nordic skiing, snow tubing, and year-round outdoor recreation. The charming town of Ely is also nearby, featuring the International Wolf Center, North American Bear Center, local shops, restaurants, and outdoor outfitters.
Our goal is simple: we want Daisy Bay Lodge to feel like your own private retreat. We take pride in creating a clean, comfortable, and memorable experience for every guest. Come relax, explore, reconnect, and experience the magic of Lake Vermilion.
