Place is huge and suited our family being under one roof. The host was very quick with responses and gave good communication. The place was showing wear but had plenty of games for the kids and space to gather or relax. Very close to Massanutten activities.

SUCH a great experience. Location is wonderful, the property itself is just beautiful. Kitchen/dining/meeting are all first rate. Host and caretaker are super helpful and responsive. Considering what you get, the price is extremely reasonable. If you are doing a big event, for people who can share rooms, it's hard to beat this property.

Amazing property! There was plenty of room for our large family. The eat in kitchen was large enough to fit our 22 family members with room to spare.We enjoyed the inside games on rainy afternoons and the kids had a big flat yard to run around in. The fire pits and hammocks were also a big hit. Thank you for sharing your lovely house.

This spacious mansion located within the Massanutten Resort was ideal for our family reunion group. The owner promptly answered my questions prior to arrival and the rental home includes many start-up supplies. The numerous living and dining areas, patios, and ensuite bedrooms were perfect. Views of the mountains and visiting deer families were a highlight. The caretaker, Josh, welcomed us and was responsive and helpful during our stay. Two of the top floor bedrooms don't cool down like the remainder of that level. Fans were available but being able to open windows would make a difference. Payton's Peak met all of the requirements for our family group and helped us to capture many more precious moments together.

Our family’s first Christmas vacation was a dream made reality thanks to Kim and Payton’s Peak. We are endlessly grateful to rent the space and make memories. Amazing place for large family gatherings!!

So much space!! We had 11 adults and 10 kids and still everyone had privacy when needed. Compared to renting multiple smaller homes this was less expensive and much better for being able to hang out all together.

Christmas in January Family Reunion

We had an amazing weekend with our families from NC. The house was very spacious, amazing kitchen, game room for the kids was so fun, and the property was great. We have many memories for the record books thank you!

Great stay for our large family!!!

Overall, we had a great time, our family age ranged from toddler to senior, and we all had something to do and enjoy our time at the place and with one another. Pictures don't do justice on how large the place really is. We just had one bathroom shower that was not able to shut off, but Josh was able to fix the issue the next day. I would highly recommend this place!

Fantastic property

This is our 2nd time staying here. We were a large extended family staying here for an After Christmas Annual Gathering. Payton’s Peak was perfect for our 22 guest and one toddler group. So many fun things to do for all age groups. Plenty of space to cook and play together. The caretaker Josh was very helpful. Would definitely stay again!
