Perfectly situated on 26 acres, sitting 900 feet back from the road you can achieve beauty and solitude with your stay, but the proximity still allows you to enjoy all the adventure, amenities, and restaurants you could want to make for an enjoyable time.
The cabin is located within 7 miles of three different wedding venues: * The Barn at Sleepy Hollow - 6.6 miles * Horsehead Lake Lodge and Event Center - 4.2 miles * Heritage Acres Wedding Venue - 5.8 miles
There is also close proximity to University of the Ozarks which is only 8.3 miles away.
For the adventurous type, Byrds Adventure Center on the Mulberry River is 21.5 miles away. They have all the equipment you could need for river adventures and swimming is close by at Wolf Pen Recreation Area (14.4 miles).

If off-roading is your pleasure, there is Ozark National Forest ATV Trailhead 10 miles from the cabin which has over 50 miles of trails with diverse terrains.
One note of caution - Johnson County is dry. There is a convenience store less than a mile from the cabin where you can get gas and supplies, but no beer, wine, or spirits are sold.
The good news is that Franklin Country is less than 20 miles southwest from the cabin. It is wet and hosts some of the best wineries in Arkansas. Altus, AR has 4 different wineries along Hwy. 64 and they are all very good. Try the Cynthiana wine - a grape unique to Arkansas.
Go 17 miles to the south and you will find Logan County, another wet county which hosts the Pridgin Family Brewery in Scranton, AR that is highly rated.

The hostess is extremely helpful, accessible and accommodating! Everything is extremely clean especially considering it is pet friendly. We have a daughter in college there and always like to meal prep for her and the kitchen was fully stocked with pots, pans and utensils we needed. I love that the property is very secluded but close to the school and the lakes for entertainment. We were completely satisfied!!

About the host
Hosted by Tami Cullen
We are from Texas and have 2 properties southeast of Dallas in a community called Poetry. We love having guests come stay with us and hearing how they enjoyed the facility and what they did. Would love to have you stay with us there as well.
Why they chose this property
James (Tami's husband) family goes back in this community to the 1880's. This land was originally purchased by his great great grandfather from the railroad. The family was very active in the community as evidenced by the memorial windows in the Presbyterian Church in Harmony paying tribute to his great grandfather and his great great grandfather.
