This was the BEST property we encountered during our two week vacation in Japan. We had plenty of space for five adults. The “dorm style” three private toilet stalls, three sinks and two showers were ideal when everyone needed to get ready at the same time. Nice walkable location and large living room/dining space allowed us to watch the World Cup and play cards. Another bonus was a later check out at noon.

The apartment was spacious, clean and well stocked with kitchen and bath amenities. The location gave easy access to train, restaurants and shopping. Our host provided very helpful information which made our experience in Osaka very enjoyable.

Conveniently located near a supermarket and a 15 min walk to the station, it was spacious and clean. Our hosts were wonderful and offered a pick up and drop off at the Shinkansen, which was above and beyond! The only side note, is that the beds were more firm than we as bigger people were used to, but everything else was well stocked and awesome! I also appreciated that we had an elevator to the second floor, as my knees are not what they once were!

The host was very welcoming and picked us up from the train station. The apartment was very spacious and stocked with lots of amenities. The beds were cosy and quiet at night. Great facilities for washing/drying etc. So lovely to have so much room in a city location especially after travelling round hotel rooms. We would love to return.

Very nice spot. We stayed in Shibuya first then Kyoto, and finally Osaka. The places we stayed in got progressively bigger with this being the largest which was nice to come home to after a long day exploring. Also a lot of really good restaurants just down the block in Shoten Mall/Fukushima.

Wonderful home conveniently located

This is a great place to stay in Osaka. It is close to a couple of train lines, so it's easy to get around. The home is updated and clean. There is plenty of room, and there are many grocery stores and shops nearby.

The stay was absolutely phenomenal! Everything was well thought out and clearly explained. The host was very communicative and helpful with anything we needed. The space was super clean and included everything from cooking oil to water to teas and coffee. I would 100% stay here again the next time I come to Osaka. The home was easy to find and very close to a subway station and 24-hr grocery store. Very quiet and safe neighborhood.

Outstanding Stay in Osaka

Just my son and I in town for the Koshien HS baseball tournament and we had a great time. The host was fantastic. We were picked up and dropped off at the Osaka train station. Home is located near most everything you need for a comfortable stay. Would highly recommend!

Very pleasant stay in Osaka

Accommodation was exactly as listed, very clean and enough space for our group to unwind in after our hectic sightseeing days. Hosts were amazing in assisting with transport to/from stations even with our late night arrival. Area was nice, easy walk to stations and a number of good supermarkets nearby. Very happy with our time here.

Above and beyond

Our hosts Akira & Meigumi picked us up and drove us back to the train station. They replied promptly to our inquiries and kept in constant contact with us. The accommodations were spotless, well stocked and within walking distance to the train stations and grocery stores. Hostel Familia is a lovely place to stay while exploring Osaka.

Highly Recommend

This was a fantastic place to stay. Short walk to the various train stations, the supermarket and alleys full of little places to eat. The check in process was very easy and the host made us feel very welcome and gave us tips on where to eat. We were a family of 5 adults and there was plenty of room for us all. Multiple toilets and showers. If coming back to Osaka I would stay here again.

Excellent winter visit!

We had a wonderful 4 nights at Hostel Familia. So nice to have 3 bedrooms with my husband and I and our two adult children. Everyone has their own space and privacy. We also so appreciated the extra support from our hosts in terms of pickup/drop off at the train station upon arrival. Highly recommend!

What a Fantastic Property

We really enjoyed our 4 nights that we stayed at this property in Osaka. The place was an easy walk to two train stations that allowed you to easily get anywhere in the city. Having 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and 2 showers was a luxury that we didn't experience in any other property we stayed at while on our trip to Japan. The owners were very friendly and picked us up from Shin-Osaka at the start of the stay and dropped us off again at Shin-Osaka at the end of the stay. Very impressed with this rental and we will rent this place again the next time we are back in Osaka.

Spacious apartment in a nice setting

The property is beautiful and spacious. The host has thought of many helpful extras such as cold mineral water in the fridge and available toothbrushes and toothpaste. Instructions are clear and communication quick. Parking at the property is very helpful. We enjoyed our stay and appreciate all about it.
