This was a very nice house. Having bedrooms and bathrooms on the opposite sides of the house worked well for us. We enjoyed the fall color and going to the Soo Locks one day. Close to a restaurant and convenience store.

We enjoyed our stay here. Plenty of room for eight of us. Everything we needed in the kitchen to make some of our meals to avoid eating out every meal. Beds were very comfortable. My grandsons really enjoyed the fishing - both from the dock and the pontoon. We enjoyed boat rides around the lake in the evenings. Close enough for day trips to many things we wanted to see - Tahquamenon Falls, Soo Locks, Great Lakes Shipwreck Museum, Whitefish Point, Pictured Rocks, Kitch-iti-kipi, and Oswald’s Bear Ranch.

Lovely lakefront location with large kitchen, good bedroom set-up for our family group of six adults. We appreciated the a/c, since it was quite hot during our stay. We used the pontoon boat and a kayak for leisurely tours around the lake and swimming off the pontoon. We drove from the house for day-trips to Tahquamenon Falls and Pictured Rocks. This house was a good choice for our group!

Everything was as advertised for this house. We had our 3 adult children and 2 fur babies with us and had more than enough space for everyone. The pontoon boat and kayaks on East Lake were used every single day. We loved the location and how quiet everything was. The town of Newberry nearby had everything we needed from grocery stores, shopping, coffee shops and hiking with the falls. We took day trips to Sault Ste. Marie and multiple trips to Munising and Lake Superior. The hosts were super attentive to any questions we had, couldn't recommend this place any more! Having the garage be available was definitely an added bonus. Thank you for everything.

The house was clean and ready for us at check in. Comfortably Accommodated my family of 7 plus our dog. House sits on a beautiful lake with great options to enjoy it—pontoon boat, kayaks, fishing boat & fishing gear. We used all of that and loved it! The lake & yard are definitely great features as well as the yard that has a fire pit with 8 Adirondack chairs, a nice picnic table and swings. Had trouble getting the wifi to work (password given was incorrect and internet service had a partial outage for a couple of days) but the management was quickly responsive & updated us each day. The only other cons I have are: …the white coffee maker doesn’t work; the water reservoir on the pod side of the duel Hamilton Beach coffee maker /pod coffee maker was not clean and had gross “gunk” inside of it and we didn’t get to use that because of it-The reservoir on the coffee pot side was questionable too; no mixer of any kind & no aluminum foil found although the description says the kitchen is fully stocked; alot of traffic noise from being right off a busy highway; the wooden deck steps on the back are warped and a little dangerous as a result & was not safe for my elderly mom. House has some great updates, including the floors, but needs a little more updating. The entrance being updated would really help with the first impression in walking up and for getting inside. Overall, there’s a chance we will return for the fun in the water and the great location to other adventures!

We went for a snowmobiling trip and it was a great location. Pull through driveway is large enough for a truck and trailer and maybe more than one! The snow removal was phenomenal for that much snow. The home was perfect and we love taking our fur babies with us! Highly recommend for winter fun.

Wonderful home full of everything we needed plus more. Waking up to the view of the lake was a great way to start the day. Definitely recommend this home to small and large groups. Lots of space to park outside and a huge yard to play in. The area was still full of snow, the house was cozy and warm. The fireplace in the dining room was an added bonus! So peaceful to have the fire going in the morning. The hosts were attentive and responded to our questions immediately. 5 star house with a 5 star management company to work with!!! You won’t want to leave!

Ryan, we love hearing that you enjoyed staying at Stone House.  It has 4 bedrooms and 2 baths and pets are welcome.  Guests can ride their snowmobiles directly from the house to the nearby trails, and there is plenty of parking.  There is even a space in the garage where guests can use to park their snowmobiles.  We hope to see you again!

Great Cottage Getaway

We stayed here with family on a mini-vacation. The lake was beautiful, the yard inviting, and the inside was cozy. There were a couple small issues when we arrived, but the communication from the property manager was great! We would stay here again.

Nice place

The House we stayed in was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed snowmobiling and some fishing. There is a conveniently located gas station and nearby restaurant which had good food.

Great place

Great place, easy to.deal with. Only issue is it's not on the trails, which wasn't a big issue for us. You have to basically go to Newberry.
