Loved this property. The views were beautiful. The house was cozy and perfect for our group. The hosts were communicative and responded to messages promptly. Loved some of the personal touches like the liberty puzzles!Would love to return next year!

The house was well-maintained and clean. The twin beds are a trundle bed and are in the anteroom of the bedroom with the king bed, so a little less private than the other rooms. But the bathrooms are ginormous!

The property is breathtaking! We went for a long weekend. House was gorgeous with everything you could possibly need (from shampoo to towels, bathrooms two soaking tubs and 2 showers to 4 bedrooms. The pool table was nice and they have a stitting area to have cofee and watch the birds or just take in the view of the pond and property. Justin was wonderful to work with. If you are looking for a restful and relaxing weekend or week, this is the place to stay. Beautiful hardwood throughout the home. They spent alot of time to make this home rustic and cozy. The property was great for the one medium-sized dog we brought. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. You could really tell that the house is loved and lived-in. It is not just a furnished rental property, but clearly someone’s home they have spent a lot of time furnishing with high-quality items. The interior of the house was just as nice as the scenery outside, making for an effortlessly relaxing vacation.

We stayed here over Thanksgiving weekend and had a great experience. The property is beautiful, and we (and our dog) enjoyed exploring it and hiking the nearby trails which are just down the road. The house was very clean, unique, and comfortable. We loved relaxing by the fireplace, playing pool, and having a well-stocked kitchen. The towels were super soft and the welcome gift was a nice touch.It felt like a true getaway — close to great towns to explore, but private enough to just enjoy being in nature. We’d definitely stay here again.

House was great. Dirt road was too treacherous with steep downhill and drop off on one side after 6 inches of snow, followed by melting and refreezing. Could not safely leave until the city sand truck came late in the day. Host was very responsive. Although no one could find the pack n play for the 1 year old to sleep in that the host promised was there. Nor did he supply the high chair he had promised. Had to borrow both from a local friend.

Our home is at the end of a dirt road. The town of Ashfield is very prompt in plowing and putting down sand whenever it is icy. We pay a plow service to make sure the driveway is clear and to shovel the walkway to the house. While Lynn's family was at the house he made an extra trip up to the house to sand the driveway for them. The road up to the house is a town road and is completely safe to travel. We purchased a pack and play specially for the Thurber's stay. It was at the house the whole time and I communicated to them before their arrival that we were unable to secure a high chair for them.

Perfect for a family gathering! Location was beautiful. Everything was clean. We didn’t use the kitchen except to Make coffee but it looked well stocked. Have already recommended it to Someone!

We had a lovely stay at this unique home. The peaceful yard was beautiful and full of birds and dragonflies. The home was creatively designed, well kept and charming. We adored the large dining room table and the open kitchen. We look forward to making another visit to the timber house

The house was perfect for our gathering of friends. Gorgeous setting and one of the best equipped kitchens in any short term rental. We were relaxed and happy all weekend. Justin, the host, was very accommodating and responsive.
