This was a wonderful and fun place to stay. We were able to easily walk back and forth to Tarelton campus! Super clean and beautifully decorated as well as equipped with everything you need. We will definitely be staying again! Thank you.

Perfect place for a small family gathering! Game room is super fun, backyard is spacious with so much to do. A/C works great. Kitchen fully stocked. Adorable decor. Street is very busy and parking can be a bit tricky. Would definitely book again.

Everything was tidy and clean for our stay. We had everything we needed, all the amenities were there. The beds we very comfortable and the AC worked great! Would definitely stay again, it was the perfect stay for what we were looking for!

The house smelled like smoke upon walking in and the toilet was used. We reached out and they immediately responded (which was great) saying they could send someone to clean the toilet and there’s an air purifier but honestly I expected to be compensated monetarily because the smell was horrible. Additionally, you can’t use the drawers for storage in the bathroom sink because there’s caked on gunk and hair. And underneath the sink there was a sopping wet towel, someone’s leftover plastic travel toiletries, and a sock…. Additionally, the bathmat in front of the shower is muddy and disgusting and the cups in the kitchen were wet. Overall, the property was fine and lots to do outside, but wouldn’t stay again due to the smell, lack of cleanliness, and lack of an appropriate response from the company.

Thank you for taking the time to share this feedback. You're right that the bathroom was not up to our standard. We take great pride in our cleaning standards and this was a complete failure and we've addressed them with our cleaning team and will not have this happen going forward. When you let us know about the smell and the toilet, we responded within minutes, offered to send a cleaner right away, and pointed you to the air purifier. You mentioned you'd try the purifier and let us know if the smell didn't clear up, We did not hear from you after that. We also would have gladly taken care of everything that you mentioned in this review and offered to do so but never heard anything back. We're glad you enjoyed everything there is to do outside, and we appreciate the honest feedback. It helps us get better.

We had the best stay at Howdy House! The bedrooms are adorable, with comfortable beds and luxurious bedding. The home is thoughtfully set up with plenty of space to truly make yourself at home. The shared spaces were just as wonderful! There were lots of fun things to enjoy in the game room and backyard. Everything was spotless, and the owners communicated clearly and promptly. I would absolutely recommend Howdy House to anyone looking for a place to stay in Stephenville!
