About this property

Charming 2-bedroom house in tranquil Stover Missouri. Pet friendly

Your Stover getaway awaits at this 2-bedroom house with queen beds, 2 bathrooms with showers, and additional spaces like a cozy living room with a sleeping sofa and a child size lounge. The totally remolded building served Stover as a blacksmith shop, a newspaper office and now a comfortable guest house. I had the personal experience of having a knee replacement and traveling was so difficult to find a total step free house. This is a step free house from the entry to the walk in showers, great for limited mobility guests. We are not fully ADA certified but folks traveling with limited mobility will be comfortable and safe. All kitchen cabinets are counter top level. A walker could be used to position at the built in shower seat with relative ease. An air purification device is available and used to limit dust/dander and allergens. Located near the Exciting Lake of the Ozarks, local wineries, brewers and numerous day trips.

Very cute little house in stover! Hosted my families thanksgiving celebration here and it was perfect! From the spacious kitchen, to the comfy bathrooms (perfect for winding down after a long day) everything was amazing! 10 stars!

Such a cute place to stay! Super clean and inviting, easy access to the home and a littlw patio area with a nice yard for our dogs. We had the best time visiting our kiddos for Easter weekend. Thw home had everything we needed! Definitely will book again when we are in the area!

I grew up on a farm in this area and when I retired from teaching I wanted to do something to share the variety of things that make the area special.

Why they chose this property

Stover has the best to offer of small town Missouri. It is located in a rural area but within easy access to the Lake of the Ozarks, off road adventures, a beautiful speedway and coming soon the Rock Island bike trail which will join Katy Trail across Missouri. There are two very active wineries and one local brew house in the immediate area with several more a short drive away. Located midway between two of Missouri largest cities it is an easy drive to many varied activities and events.

What makes this property unique

Our building has served Stover for many years. The first pictures we have were of the building used as an active blacksmith shop. It’s next chapter of its life was the area newspaper office. It was a business office for a short time but two years ago we changed the chapter of this book to serve families and visitors to an area we are proud to share with guests to mid Missouri.
