A wonderful small and cosy house with a private natural hot tub, fantastic views
A wonderful small and cozy house situated on a hill with fantastic views of the valley and to the little church nearby. There is a private road to the house and a good parking lot. There are two bedrooms, one with a queen size bed and the second with two single beds. The living room has a comfortable sofa, chairs and a TV. Great accomodation for a family or friends of two to four. Beautiful mountain view from every window and a private natural hot tub just outside. The kitchen is spacious with every utensils you need and some coffee, tea, salt and pepper. WiFi connection. The tiled bathroom has a luxurious shower. The greatest asset of this house is the hot tub outside made of natural stones from a mountain nearby. We provide slippers and bathrobes. On the veranda a barbecue grill and garden furniture. We work closely with a riding tour company nearby and we could even arrange a riding tour to and from the house where you could even leave your fellow horses on the green pastures close to the house overnight. Háabrekka is the perfect place to relax and recharge your energy.

I was born and raised in Skagafjörður and grew up on the farm next to Háabrekka. I was living abroad for a few years but moved back home in 2007. I love nature and being outdoors, it gives me a wonderful sense of happiness. My favorite view is of the mountain south of the house, Mælifellshnjúkur, which is a landmark of Skagafjörður.
What makes this property unique
