Beautiful, peaceful, clean, well-stocked kitchen. The hosts were really accessible and helpful in communicating and taking care of questions and concerns. The linens were wonderful and the beds were very comfortable. The lake is wonderful with morning light and the kayaks were super and we had fun tooling around the lake. Appliances were new and easy to use. The location was perfect to get to sleeping bear, traverse city, crystal lake, and interlochen. This is a beautiful home and accommodated our 4 couples comfortably!

Loon's Lakehouse was the perfect home base for our multi-generational family vacation, with everyone in our group having their own area in the spacious, multi-level property. We enjoyed the location--and the beautiful views!--directly on Lake Ann and access to kayaks, a canoe, paddle boards, and fishing gear. We also enjoyed easy access to and from downtown Traverse City, Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore, and Fishtown/Leland. Andrew was a great, communicative host. If ever back in Northern Michigan, we would definitely stay at this property again.

Great location for day trips to Sleeping Bear, Fishtown, and Traverse City. The host was very quick to respond to questions and concerns. The check in was extremely easy. The house had all the amenities we wanted but subtracted a star because several pieces of furniture need to be repaired or replaced (dining chairs). The house needs a deep cleaning of cobwebs, screens, kitchen cabinets, and deck. We were there on Labor Day week so perhaps it was cleaned early in the season. The fire ring area has a steep pitch that could be dicey for small kids or clumsy adults. A couple of members in our group took the kayaks out. They loved the launch attached to the dock.
