Just a quarter mile from the Eagle Cap Trailhead, this home is a dream base for hiking, fishing, skiing, and year-round outdoor adventure. After a day exploring the Wallowa Mountains, soak sore muscles in your private hot tub and take in breathtaking views from the back patio.

Inside, you’ll find a thoughtfully designed space with modern comforts and cozy touches. The fully equipped kitchen features stainless steel appliances and everything you need to cook at home, while the living room offers plush seating and a TV for evening relaxation. Additional conveniences include central AC, a washer/dryer, and free WiFi throughout.

Step outside to enjoy mountain air and gather with your group on the furnished patio. Fire up the gas grill for al fresco dining, or simply relax in the hot tub while watching the sun set over the ridgeline.

The home comfortably sleeps families and groups with spacious bedrooms, plush beds, and plenty of room to spread out. Whether you’re here for adventure or downtime, this retreat blends comfort and convenience in a stunning natural setting.

It was a very nice property, we did have some problems with flies due to the horses on property. We were extremely bummed that the hot tub was not functioning as that is why we selected the property. We were told the day of check in that it wasn’t working. We were able to get a small amount refunded due to that. When we got to the property the main living area lights didn’t work so we had to find the box and flip the circuit breaker.

Beautiful clean home. We had such a nice relaxing getaway from the big city life. It’s very quiet and loved the views of the mountain and a 10 minute walk to the lake. Lots of nearby hiking trails. It was magical. Thank you!

The property still has a newness about it. Very clean and furnished well. Our time here was a mid March quiet time in the area which we enjoyed. Celebrating our first granddaughter’s 12th birthday with five adults and three kids this house exceeded our needs and expectations for space and comfort.We really enjoyed our time here.

We enjoyed our long Valentine’s Day weekend with family in this home. Hosts were wonderful to work with and the house was clean and had all the amenities needed. Only thing that would have made it better if there was snow for snowshoeing but instead we did some fun hikes! Hope to return soon!

We did need to turn up the hot tub a bit, but it was then great. Kitchen was basically well equipped but coukd use a scraping/mixing spatula. Also a tea pot and strainer?

When we opened the door for the first time, the house was filled with flies--not just a few, but hundreds! We worked for an hour or so swatting and cleaning up flies before we sprayed with insect killer and left for a few hours. This killed enough that we could sleep, but we spent hours each day swatting and sweeping up the dead ones. We were very careful to open and close the doors quickly, but to no avail. When we arrived, all of the bathroom and kitchen towels were wet--but folded neatly. We had to dry all of them in the dryer before bed the first night. This is not really a complaint but a suggestion: We are 3 elderly women and the tubs were slippery with no grab bars. We recommend fixing these before an accident occurs.The house was well-located with plenty of amenities. Actually, there were more in the kitchen than we have seen in all of the other vacation rentals we have used.We probably wouldn't return to this property because of the flies, but that might be a seasonal problem due to the adjacent horse corral.

Lovely Mountain Retreat! The home was well organized and well stocked with appliances, games, bedding etc. unfortunately it rained for three days straight! It did allow us more time for conversation and games inside. The host left several snacks and a beautiful welcome bouquet of flowers.

Such a cozy, quiet, peaceful stay! They thought of all the small things, including leaving snacks and makeup wipes—-things most other hosts don’t do. I would definitely stay here again!

We had a wonderful time staying in your home at Wallowa Lake. Everything was comfortable and in working order. It is so nice that we could take our dog. Thank you for all the welcoming snacks, so thoughtful. My grandchildren really liked petting and talking to our neighbors. I did wonder why the fire pit wasn't set up. We would have used it in the evenings. I will recommend your home or hope to come again. Julie
