Wonderful property! They’ve thought of everything, and clearly this cabin is set up for a loving family, but also works great for adults. Amazing lake views and lots of different ways to get out on the water. So many homey touches make this a truly special place, inside and out. Easy access to Hwy 3, but far enough back to be silent. Loons nesting on the lake, and swallows (swifts?) nesting in the eaves provide entertainment of the avian kind. A little slice of Alaska heaven.

Great stay at Lazy Birch

Great stay for us and our friends this weekend at Lazy Birch. Everything was comfortable and well thought out, and so many amenities were available that we were able to enjoy under the midnight sun. We will definitely return on our next trip to Talkeetna! Thank you to the hosts as well, communication was fantastic throughout the stay!

Beautiful lake view is the highlight of this cabin. A cozy house that has plenty of room for our family. We took advantage of the boats and kayaks as well as day trips into Telketna. Great hosts who provided sweet extras and quality linens and towels.

Perfectly Peaceful

My only complaint is I wish I would have been able to stay longer. This was the perfect get away for my wife and I. We loved everything they had to offer and would definitely stay here again.

Phenomenal stay at an exceptional property. We had the pleasure of meeting one of the owners, and as we expected, really enjoyed our conversation. Just sent the photo I took from the bedroom window to another friend who would like to go to Alaska. Thank you so much for a great stay!

Beautiful Serene Setting

This was a beautiful location and close enough to Talkeetna to spend time there. The home is comfortable with all that is needed to have a nice stay. The communication with the hosts was flawless and they are very welcoming. The gazebo and fire pit were very nice and relaxing.

A piece of Alaskan heaven.

Nice cabin situated to taking in the view of the lake. Very comfortable, clean, a nice getaway, but still not too far from Talkeetna/towards Denali. Loved Being able to get on the lake with The provided kayaks/paddleboat. Host was responsive and make sure we had everything we needed.

We had a wonderful stay at The Lazy Birch. The entire property was thoughtfully laid out and maintained. We really enjoyed the peacefulness of the lake and using the paddle boat and kayaks. Sitting quietly on the lake and watching the loons was so relaxing. Our teens also really enjoyed the provided outdoor games. The amenities inside were numerous and we were quite comfortable during our stay. Darryl was very fast to respond and very pleasant. We definitely hope to stay here again!
