2 bedroom Luxury White Sand Villa in Ocho Rios with Private Chef

Eden Sands Villa is a fully air conditioned property that is located 15 feet away from its very own beach. Eden Sands is a part of a boutique set of villas (1, 2 and 3 bedrooms) available for rent individually or as a whole 6 bedrooms total.

The approximately 1600 sq ft property is a hidden gem that has been contemporarily renovated. Our master bedroom is equipped with a custom King Size Guango bed, with an overhead reading light and a table/bench perfect for your laptop or phone charging station. Our sheets are a minimum of a 1000TC to encourage rest. There is a walking closet with a safe and a tub in the master bath room.

The second bedroom has two single beds when joined, converts to a comfortable king size bed. The room has all the same amenities as the Master save an accept a standing shower.

Our private chef and housekeeper will take care of your rooms in the morning and prepare your meals as requested. They are skilled in all local and other cuisines to include vegetarian.

We have a chef included who can accompany you to the supermarket to purchase groceries for your requested meals. We do have an inclusive meal option where guests can choose from our select menu should you choose this option. At nights we have our watch man Shamori (approx. 6pm to 8am) on site as well as our dog Neptune who loves meeting and greeting our guests.

Note we are located within ten (10) minutes drive to White River "Blue Hole", and most Chukka Tours! Dunns River, Mystic Mountain and ten minutes walk to all major craft markets, banks/cambios and souvenir shopping centers. We are also walking distance to restaurants like Ms. T's, Ocho Rios Jerk Centre, Fisherman's Village, Evitas, Passage to India, Mongoose Bar, Johncrow Bar, Turtle River Park, Moon Palace Resort, Rooms on the Beach and Hibiscus Lodge.

ALL water sports such - scuba diving, fishing, jet skis can be accessed on the beach. Let us know in advance and we can organize all tours you are interested in.


Airport transportation - US$250 Roundtrip from and to the Montego Bay Airport and US$300 Roundtrip from and to Kingston Airport. Maximum of 6 passengers. Each additional passenger US$25.

What a wonderful places a little bit of paradise We arrived from the U.K. and daughter and Son in law from the US so nice get together Everything we wanted and more.great little beach lovely to be out on the paddle board and Kayak early morning and snorkel on the reef and great base to explore if you want to. Diana cooking was just great and we let her guide us on the menu - only ate out once in the end as so good. Milo ( the groundsman / watchman) was the friendliest man ever and so knowledgeable we loved chatting to him and as for Neptune the dog we just wanted to take her home ! She is just beautiful- the staff make this place 5* Don’t hesitate to book this place just wonderful I am sure we will be back Certainly

Amazing Heaven in Jamaica

“Eden Sands in Ocho Rios has it all. Great location (right in the heart of town) – yet, very secluded! My friend, Jennifer, and I felt at times as if we were on our own private island. We plan to make it an annual event to return to Eden Sands in August of each year. Nathan and Melissa and their staff, Barbara, Christine, and Milo went the distance to ensure that we had an unforgettable holiday. All the amenities and fabulous meals (of our choice) - served on the veranda overlooking the Caribbean Sea – doesn’t get much better than that. Two of our many highlights had to be capturing the spectacular sunsets on film and floating in the Sea at night – counting the stars. STAY AWAY

When we arrived at the property there was no power. We reported this to Melissa and she suggested we get some candles. That was the first red flag. She offered a refund and stated she would return it via Vrbo. So we went to a hotel to check in for the night. While at the hotel we called Vrbo and was told no refund is being given by Melissa we contacted her with no response. Around midnight we get a call from Milo the guardsman and says we have power you can come back. We had already payed for a night at another hotel so that was frustrating. The next day when we arrived to the villa the AC wasn’t working and there were ants everywhere. We tried to contact Melissa once again but she didn’t respond. Worst experience ever. I would stay far away from this villa and any of the other 2 she has on property as they are not well maintained and the pictures are old and represent what the property used to look like.

We absolutely loved staying at the Eden Sands Villa!!! The owners were super-friendly, we grew to love the staff like family and the beachfront location is pure Heaven. Really great place/ secluded

It was a surprise how nice the property was once you passed the gate. Also, it’s worth every penny with having Ms Diane and Milo available. She can cook, and he knows every secret on where to go to get what you want. I will definitely stay at this place again. Wonderful having a verandah and ocean right outside the door.

A rejuvenating weekend.....

Melissa was waiting for us when we arrived and Diana and Natasha got food on the table right on time. Everyone made us, including my 96 year old Mom, feel welcome. As we were leaving, my Mom asked, ‘When can we come back?’ Milo the groundskeeper helped us get Mom into the water and Attitude, the property dog came to the villa to tell her bye. It was a wonderful change of scenery and we felt safe.

Location & Miss B!

What a delight! I sigh just thinking of it... The hustle and bustle of Ocho Rios is left behind, once the security gates close on your little piece of paradise! The cutest little bungalow with everything you need, and the best part... Miss B! Short for Barbara! She is there, quietly in the background, to make sure your stay is perfect! From having a meal waiting for you upon arrival, to her quiet presence and tidying up... you feel a sense of calm surrounding your stay. We miss her still! This property is literally the closest private residence to town, while still having your own private beach... now that is a holiday at its best! You can walk to everything, we never felt unsafe, everyone we spoke to were very friendly and helpful. But like any tourist in any country, you need to be mindful of your situation and surroundings. We would not hesitate to return, and have nothing but amazing memories of our stay. Melissa, the property owner, was great to work with, she's a local real estate agent, so that elevates her professionalism and knowledge of the area, and we appreciated it!

Melissa & Nathan, Thank you so much for allowing us to stay in your beautiful beachfront villa in Ocho Rios. This private setting was ideal for our family's much needed vacation. The house was island style- prefect with 2 roomy bedrooms with their own bathrooms. The living space and deck were prefect for relaxing. I loved watching the breeze come through the open windows- moving the sheers, quite lovely! Everything was kept fresh and clean daily in the villa by Barbara. The kitchen had all that we needed to cook full meals and the grocery store was a short walk from the villa (we liked the General food market best). Fresh fish from the docks is a must- with both Barbara and her daughter (Christine) helping prepare two fabulous evening dinners with red snapper. Barbara cooked us 3 breakfast meals as well (dont miss out on the traditional Jamaican salt fish & ackee that she prepares). Barbara the housekeeper was amazing- I can't say enough about her. She really made our stay enjoyable. Milo the groundskeeper was incredibly friendly and helpful as well -Bringing us Ackee and vegetables to enjoy during our stay. He kept watch at night as well, although the villa and grounds always felt safe. The beach right in front of the villa was clean and the water refreshing. Perfect for snorkeling (not the greatest though) and swimming. The villa comes equipped with snorkel gear, beach towels, floaties, a paddle board and 2 person kayak. Amazing! If you like golf- definitely try Sandals Ocho Rios which is 15minute drive; it is worth it. Our favorite day trip was to the BLUE HOLE (about 20-minute drive)- go early (arrive at 830-9am) to avoid the crowds and get the best tour guides. We had an amazing time walking up the falls and then jumping/swinging/diving and swimming down them (Jerome and TJ were the best guides!). I will definitely be returning! Highly recommend.

Absolutely Breathtaking

Eden Sands Villa is absolutely stunning! We had the best time kayaking each morning with the sunrise and paddle boarding in the afternoons. There are no words to describe the beauty of this place, it’s truly a slice of paradise. Our hosts Melissa and Nathan were very helpful with arranging our tours and making sure that we were comfortable at all times. Mrs Barbra, Our chef/housekeeping helped us plan out our meals for the week and made us feel right at home with warm cooked meals from the heart. We will definitely be staying again! Fabulous Family Fun

Our family time at the property was simply FABULOUS. From the moment we entered the gates of the property and received a warm welcome from the watchman and the housekeeper, who come with the property, to make our stay safe and comfortable, we knew we were at home away from home. The beauty of the white sands of beach and the turquoise blue of the sea called us to drop our bags and go right in. The water was so warm we were able to literally swim all day, from the awesome vista of the rising to the setting sun... a couple persons even swam during the night. The housekeeper Christine was a magician in the kitchen. Breakfast on the veranda with the feel of the cool breeze and the view of sea was like heaven on earth... not to mention relaxing on the lounge chairs under the canopy of almond trees with a full belly. The house itself gave a sense of old world with all the comforts of the new world... hot water, cable TV and WiFi. They think of everything to add to the fun factor... There is a kayak for the adventurous and snorkels, flippers, and floaters. The kids had a ball. We strongly recommend visiting here... we're already planning our next family visit.

Best vacation ever!!

This was our first experience with VRBO and everything went smoothly and perfect! The villa was even more beautiful than the photos depicted. It was large, clean, well maintained, private, safe and staffed with absolutely lovely people. The beach is beautiful and well manicured with crystal clear water, cool breezes and warm seas. The snorkeling area is right in your backyard! We arrived late the 1st night, due to an air line delay, and we found a delicious hot meal awaiting us in the kitchen! Ms B. was amazing; she made many Jamaican dishes that were expertly prepared and beautifully served. We had curried chicken and goat, garlic shrimp, red snapper, bbq chicken, fresh mangos, pineapple, papaya, bananas, plantains, chocolate cake, banana bread, and fresh salads and veggies with every meal! We were even given 2 loaves of homemade banana bread to go! The villa is walking distance to shopping areas and restaurants, but we truly never wanted to leave. The staff helped us with anything and everything we needed and we felt like family by the 2nd day. It was an amazing experience and we will definitely return the next chance we get! Thank you for allowing us to share your beautiful ocean home!

Family vacation

We had a wonderful vacation at Eden sands, waking up to the sounds of the waves crashing on the shore was so peaceful, and relaxing, being right on the beach was great, couldn't have asked for better weather, cool breezes, early morning rain followed by a beautiful day of sunshine. The food served by Barbara was delicious and well presented. The villa is clean and beautifully decorated and was kept that way by Christine , who even gave me a lesson in swan making, A wonderful vacation after a cold, miserable winter. Highly recommend visiting this beautiful spot, we will certainly return next year . Great for family or couples. In close walking distance to the town but yet secluded and quiet.

This was a first time vacation house rental and this one was fabulous. The house was very spacious, clean and well maintained inside and out. The cook/housekeepers were wonderful, friendly and prepared authentic Jamaican foods for our family. Within easy walking distance to town for groceries and shopping. This was truly a "relaxing" vacation.

QUIET,RELAXING FAMILY VACATION

Our trip to Ocho Rios in June was a last minute plan and we could not have been more impressed with our week spent there. Nathan and Melissa helped us by answering our queries very promptly. The villa itself is very well maintained, well located, steps away from the beach and local shopping alike. Waking up to the sound of waves was such a wonderful experience. The highlight of it all was having Miss B and her daughter come each day and take over the kitchen and house keeping. Miss B's cooking is awesome, would go back for curried goat in a heart beat. We could sample all of Jamaica's traditional cooking at home because of her. The walk to the local market was fun. Our Sincere Thanks to Nathan, Melissa, Miss B and her daughter for making our stay such a memorable one.

Wonderful Family Vacation

Our hosts, Nathan and Melissa were warm and friendly and very responsive to our many questions when preparing for our trip to Jamaica. They both visited with us during our trip and were available by phone to answer any questions or give recommendations. The villa was simple and perfect. There was always a cool breeze coming off the sea through the main entrance of the house and with the ceiling fans, there was no need for air conditioning. Both bedrooms had excellent air conditioning systems however, so we used those on just a few nights when the restaurant down the road had music playing - couldn't hear a thing with the windows closed. We felt very safe in the home and out and about in Ochi, which was an initial concern of ours. It was quickly dismissed after going out with Ms. Barbara around the town for a "tour". Milo (and Kirk - who was very nice), the night security gentleman was wonderful, had many interesting stories and was very generous, bringing us mangos and fresh ackee. Ms. Barbara, our chef, was simply the best. She cooked amazing fresh Jamaican food, oriented us to the town and stores, taught me how to make some dishes, and was knowledgeable about nutrition and health. She even made my "green juice" for me in the morning. She knew the island and was quite helpful about how to get around and acclimate to being in JA. The sea was perfect for snorkeling and looks just like the pictures posted - we spent time snorkeling, swimming, watching the world cup on the large screen TV, playing soccer on the beach, reading and just relaxing and rejuvenating in the sunshine. The Knutsford Express bus took us to Kingston and back - would highly recommend it for traveling distances - very clean and comfortable. We had a wonderful family vacation, my boys (11 & 16) loved it and felt it was way better than going to an all-inclusive resort - the food was CERTAINLY better! We hope to get back there soon - perhaps rent both Eden Sands and Neptune, the villa next door. Thank you to all those we met at Eden Sands Villa for a great Jamaica visit.

Fantastic Spring Break for a Family of Four

Our family of four just returned from a week stay at Eden Sands. We enjoyed our getaway from the moment we planted our feet on the beautiful grounds of Eden Sands. We were greeted by Miss Barbara with a wonderful first meal as we soaked in the Jamaican breezes prior to diving into the clear water outside our villa. Our daughters, 13 and 17, enjoyed adventures to Blue Hole, Dolphin Cove, and horseback riding in the sea, having the charm and guidance of the driver King Solomon. Miss Barbara cooked wonderful meal after wonderful meal and provided us with an introduction to town. Not only did we have the opportunity to meet and experience Miss Barbara's wondrous talents but her son Prince made terrific cocktails as well as teaching us the rules and strategies of Dominos. The airy, bright, clean villa was charming with a magnificent view of the sea. Nothing was more special than waking to the sounds of the ocean and diving into the water for a morning swim. We always felt safe in the evenings with the personable Mr. Milo or Mr. Curtis on the property. A lovely find!

We spent 10 amazing days in Eden Sands. Your vacation starts after a 90 minute drive from Montego Bay Airport. Transportation can be arranged for a fee and I highly recommend that you take advantage of this. Upon arrival, you are greeted by the amazing Miss Barbara, who will take extra special care of you during your stay. The villa is spacious and impeccably clean. Since it was just my husband and I, we were able to spread out. We split our clothes between the two bedrooms, and each had our own bathroom! The villa uses energy saving light bulbs throughout. That said, if you need good lighting to apply makeup (I tend to forego makeup on holidays), bring a small lighted mirror. The private beach is magnificent. There is another rental villa next door, but with luck, you'll have nice, quiet neighbours. When we planned the trip, I was a little disappointed that there was no pool, but truly, there is no need. The water has a gentle slope and you must go quite far to go in over your head. The snorkeling is amazing. Although it is wonderfully sandy, it is recommended that you wear water shoes while in the water - apparently some sea urchins have been spotted, but we never had a problem. Security is never an issue. You enter and exit the villa via a remote controlled, wooden gate. A wonderful man named Mr. Milo oversees the security overnight, so there is always a presence. I never felt ill-at-east at any time during our stay. Ocho Rios centre is a short walk from the villa. Miss Barbara will give you a comprehensive tour of the immediate vicinity, and will take you shopping. It is time well spent, as when we next ventured out on our own, we had a good sense of the area. The porch is an oasis of calm. I usually keep a travel diary, but every time I tried to write, my gaze was drawn to the beautiful, tranquil view. Miss B's cooking is amazing, and she is very accommodating. My husband will eat anything, but I, alas, am a very picky eater. No problem, Miss B will adjust her meals accordingly. By the end of the trip I just wanted to pack her up and take her home. My only concern is that too many people will find out about this wonderful place. I highly recommend this vacation property but, shhhh......don't tell anyone.

Fabulous!

Our family of 5 (parents and 3 kids, ages 18, 21, 23) spent a week during Christmas at this beautiful villa. We loved the privacy of the home and beach, yet proximity to town. The property is beautifully maintained - pristine beach, lovely veranda and very comfortable living/sleeping space. Miss Barbara came to feel like family to us - she took us shopping at the local market, taught us about local cuisine and prepared delicious meals for us each night. Her son, Prince, who recently completed bartending training, made fun drinks for us using fresh local fruit. The warmth and hospitality provided by Miss B wil be remembered and cherished by our family forever.

LOVED IT!!!!

Where do I even start? Eden Sands is a little piece of paradise! The villa is exactly as described...even better. It is very modern and homey. The beach is beautiful and peaceful. I stayed here for 8 day with my husband and my mom. Eden Sands was perfect for us!! The absolute best part of Eden Sands is Mrs. B:) Mrs. B is a rare gem that opens her heart to all the guests and makes you feel like family! Her cooking is to die for and she is meticulous in her house keeping! She took me to the local fruit market, as well as the grocery store. She very happily made us what ever we wanted to eat! Her banana bread is out of this world! She was always more than happy to answer our questions and fill us in on the Jamaican way of life. Nathan and Melissa found a treasure when they hired Mrs. B! The villa is with in walking distance to the heart of town, which is nice. At night it is very quiet and peaceful with the waves lapping on shore. No noise from downtown. I would highly recommend Eden Sands to anyone that is going to Ocho Rios! The veranda is the perfect spot to enjoy your breakfast and dinner while taking in the beautiful view, and my husband took daily naps on the day bed on the veranda as well! Eden Sands...and Mrs. B....is the perfect spot on Ocho Rios:)

What an amazing time

My wife and I recently went to Jamaica and stayed at Eden Sands Villa. We were amazed at how clean and accommodating the property was. It also came with our own cook Mrs.B who ended up giving us inside tips to what Jamaica really has to offer. So much of a more richful experience than your typical resort. It was comical that all the resort snorkle trips people pay to go on was only 20 meters straight out from our privtae beach. We literally could swim out and snorkle at our own leisure. Security was also provided, but wasn't really needed as we felt safe after the first night. Would highly recommend this villa to anyone traveling to Ochos Rio
