We live in the Park City area, but have lived in the Berkshires of Western Massachusetts and San Diego.
Why they chose this property
This community has all of the charm of a Swiss mountain village. The original settlers of the area were mountain men in the early 1800s. Then, several immigrant families from Switzerland settled here and built the area to remind them of home. Beautiful views, Less than a mile away, you will find the famous Homestead diving crater, fine European-style dining at the Blue Boar Inn, and golfing. Alpine skiing at Deer Valley, Park City, The Canyons, and Sundance is all nearby. The 2002 Olympics Nordic ski area is less than 5 miles away. Hiking, camping, snowmobiling, horseback riding, boating, fly fishing, and lake fishing are all nearby. With a 3-6 hour drive, you can be at Yellowstone National Park, Jackson Hole, Sun Valley, Moab, Zion National Park, Brice Canyon, Arches National Park, and Canyonlands National Park. Las Vegas is a 6.5-hour drive.
