Retreat and homestay for travellers interested in Natural Medicine and therapies
My home is a Maloka (traditional native ceremonial house) with cultivated gardens with medicinal plants of the Amazon region, including Ayahuasca. The house is open and spacious with hammocks and surrounded by a little creek, and even in the hot tropical weather the space is quite pleasant due to the roof being made of leaves, as well as electrical fans. There are very few mosquitos, and the area is clean and cultivated. The tourists will have mosquitonets and spiral anti mosquito incense for the evenings, during the day this is not necessary
This is also the artistic home of Claire, long term Medicine woman and artist. She makes handcrafted dreamcatchers, jewelry and paintings. She has been living and working here since mid 2007, when she bought the property.
