Six bedroom suites each with private full bathrooms and seating areas. Two additional half bathrooms in common areas. Each bedroom suite has a state-of-the-art dedicated heating and air conditioning system. Fully stocked gourmet kitchen, Outdoor patio with five foot barbecue grill. Beautiful private old growth forest setting. Bed linens & towels provided. Amenities galore. On Shawangunk Wine Trail!! We are not a hotel, motel, bed and breakfast, vacation rental and/or short-term rental. We are a Private Members Association (PMA). Always open to new members joining.

This house goes to eleven on a scale of ten.If you are looking for a large space to hold a family reunion or other group getaway, this place is what you want. It's secluded, yet only a few minutes away from amenities (grocery store, liquor store, etc.). The house is, frankly, awesome. Two very well-equipped kitchens (and I'm very picky about kitchen stuff), two living room areas, six bedrooms with en suite bathrooms as well as communal half-baths in the common areas. The decor is absolutely lovely and welcoming. A huge gas grill, beautiful patio with lots of seating, a firepit. The atmosphere is just completely peaceful.There are many local attractions, and there are informational brochures available in the house.Our host Joseph was very personable and responded quickly when we reached out with questions.

The house was perfect for my family and allowed us all to stay in one place while we celebrated a family wedding near by at the Walden Riverside Farm. The common area rooms allowed us all to have meals together and even host a small rehearsal dinner. After the wedding some of the family enjoyed a fire in the fire pit. Having the many bathrooms also allowed everyone the ability to get ready for the wedding with no problem. Great place to stay.

Extended family members had lots of space for full group gatherings to talk, and large bedrooms w/ bath to have privacy and individual down time. Perfect for our group with 11 adults, 1 child, from 4 households.

Great place to stay with family and friends!

We had a wonderful visit to the property. We only stayed 2 nights, and so mostly stayed at the house. It has great common spaces (2 living rooms, 2 dining rooms, a cooking kitchen and an entertainment kitchen), and 6 bedrooms with beautiful and comfortable large beds. The property is well-maintained and perfect for groups. I highly recommend staying there.

Wonderful Wonderful location and setup. There were 15 of us staying there and having the bathrooms in each bedroom and extra on the 1st floor and then having two kitchens, dining rooms and kitchens were so needed and helped us so so so so so much. The only thing was a few things just needed dusting and remove spider webs but the house was beautifully clean and setup excellantly.

Property and house is a great place to stay with a larger group - very spacious with double connected dining rooms and 2 ample living room/seating areas. We had several families coming together, cooking meals and visiting. A wonderful time. Joseph was very welcoming and nice.

Minnewaska Weekend

Exactly as advertised. Nice property for a big group (we had 11adults) - private bathroom for each bedroom is a huge plus. Nice outdoor area for barbecue, campfire, and yard games. Close to Sam’s Point and Minnewaska state park.

Extended family gathering

We were a family group of 12 adults, and one dog. We came for a family wedding and this property fit our needs perfectly. Beautiful setting allowed up to enjoy the spacious and peaceful area. Excellent House to accommodate a big group

This is a perfect house for a big group travelling and staying together. The kitchen has almost everything you can think of, from pots, pans to utensils, even condiments. And it's my first time to see a vacation rental house equipped with a kitchen-aid mixer. All the bedrooms are also spacious, double kitchen and living rooms really can fit in 15-20 people comfortably. The host Joe is also very nice to talk with. Highly recommend the property to large group travelling to the area.

We really enjoyed our visit at this great private retreat! Everyone loved having king size beds with their own private bathrooms! The two kitchens were very well stocked with everything that we needed. The house was very large, allowing us privacy and plenty of room for all of us when we wanted to be together. The house was "in the woods" with lots of room and beautiful scenery! The owners were very informative and accommodating. We are already talking about coming back next year!

Family weekend

We rented this house for a family weekend (7 guests), and hosted a few more family members for a holiday lunch. The house is great for a group! Having two kitchens made all the prep easy, and the dining rooms are connected through an open doorway making the flow between spaces easy. (Not pictured, so just mentioning to help visualize the space). Also nice L-shaped leather sofa in living room now. Would definitely stay here again with a large group.

Beautiful Fall Weekend

The property itself is beautiful, with a huge flat backyard and a patio overseeing it. The house is spacious and has ample seating and dining areas so it never feels crowded even when all the guests are inside. The kitchens have everything you could need (I was very pleased to find multiple coffee makers) The bedrooms were all well-appointed with very comfortable beds and linens. The water pressure in the shower was amazing. Our host Joseph, gave me a tour of the property as I arrived and gave me lots of tips on the local area for activities and food, which we did hit up while we stayed. I very much recommend this location for a quiet weekend away.

A Fabulous Family Gathering Space

The rainy week couldn’t rain on our good times together! We stayed with a group of family ranging in ages from 4-91. When booking we were excited to use the ample outdoor space to let the littles run, the teens play yard games, and everyone have outdoor seating on the large and well furnished patio. The rainy week limited that a bit, but the inside furnishings and layout gave our group of 18 both spaces to be together and places to spread out when needed! Bedrooms with their own bathrooms was a plus, and 2 first floor bedrooms were a bonus for the older members of our group. The host was friendly and easy to work with!

Perfect Family Reunion

This was a great house. Each bedroom has it’s own bathroom, which was important for older family members. Once in our rooms, we could not hear each other. We used one kitchen for food preparation and one for coffee and drinks. We enjoyed morning coffee out on the patio. There was plenty of room for 14 and a baby. We had 8 family members visit from a nearby residence and still had plenty of room to play games and socialize.

Perfect for a Family Christmas

We needed a big place where 9 adults could do a lot of cooking and entertain three little children with enough space for quiet activities, too. Hidden Cedars Inn was ideal - spacious, well-equipped, so comfortable and a beautiful location out in the country. The 6 bedrooms were lovely. The two full kitchens were excellent. The living and dining rooms really let us spread out comfortably. Many of us enjoyed day trips to the Angry Orchard cidery and the Tuttletown Distillery. All of us feasted on the wonderful brunch at the Borland House in Montgomery, which we learned about from the generous local info material at Hidden Cedars. Thanks to our host Joseph who was easy to communicate with and generous in his responses to our group!

Perfect for Family Wedding Gathering

There were 13 of us staying for a wedding at City Winery in Montgomery. (Which as an aside was not too far away to easily get to and from…) This is the perfect place for multiple couples all getting ready for a wedding as each bedroom has its own full bath. We made meals and found the kitchens well stocked with pans and bakeware, dishes and silverware. At first 2 kitchens seemed superfluous but we did end up using all that space. There are also many staples provided (spices, coffee filters, olive oil, etc) which was wonderful. We loved this space and wished it hadn’t rained so we could have taken more advantage of the great patio and outdoor space. Quality linens are included and each room is so well appointed. Joe was a very gracious host and gave us a great walk through orientation to the property. Can not speak highly enough of our experience!

Fantastic Weekend Getaway

Perfect for Large Groups - Exceeded Our Expectations!Our group of 13 had an absolutely wonderful weekend at this property. The house is incredibly spacious and was spotlessly clean upon arrival. The thoughtful layout with two separate kitchens, dining areas, and living rooms made it perfect for our large group - we never felt cramped and could easily spread out for meals and relaxation.The bedroom layout worked brilliantly for accommodating everyone comfortably. The host clearly designed this space with large groups in mind, and the sleeping arrangements were well thought out.The outdoor space was a major highlight. The expansive lawn provided plenty of room for yard games and BBQing, and we spent hours around the firepit stargazing and enjoying each other’s company. It’s rare to find a rental property with such usable outdoor space.Location-wise, we couldn’t have asked for better. The proximity to local restaurants made dining out convenient, and being close to Angry Orchard and the casino gave us great entertainment options. Everything we wanted to do was just a short drive away.Our host was exceptional - incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to accommodate our special requests. Their responsiveness and hospitality really made our stay memorable.

Perfect getaway
