About the host
Hosted by Rick Graham
We’re Rick and Ashley, and we’re so glad you’ve chosen Pura Vidaville for your adventure. Originally from Canada, we came seeking the magic of the Costa Rican jungle and ended up calling it home. In a wonderful twist of fate, we even found each other here!
We built this property to share the "authentic" Costa Rica we fell in love with—but with the modern comforts we know travelers value. We live just down the road, so we’re always nearby if you need a local tip or a helping hand, but we truly honor your privacy. Consider this your private rainforest retreat. Enjoy every moment!

Why they chose this property
This is the real Costa Rica! We love the vibe & the climate & the proximity to national park and the beautiful blue river-Rio Celeste. We chose this area for the rare balance it offers: total rural tranquility combined with world-class proximity. It’s the perfect 'sweet spot'—tucked away from the noise of the main tourist strips, yet just a short, easy drive to the stunning turquoise waters of Rio Celeste. It’s the kind of neighborhood where you can truly disconnect from the world and reconnect with nature, all while being minutes away from the region’s top attractions.
