Great Stay for a Blue Hole Visit

There's everything you need here - complete with a clothes line for wetsuits! Daniel was a great communicator and checked in with us to make sure we had everything we needed.

Family Visit

Options in the town of Santa Rosa for lodging are very limited. The VRBO offered by the Romero family provides a much better option than a motel room. Very enjoyable stay.

Perfect spot for hunting trip!

A buddy and I came to NM for an elk hunt. We wanted more space than a motel room could provide, and this place was perfect! Daniel was an awesome host, quickly resolved an internet issue that we had, and continued to check in on us offering assistance. We will definitely stay here again if another hunt comes along in the area.

Our daughter lives in Santa Rosa and we were looking for a place to stay close by other than a motel room. The Romero listing fit the bill. Couldn’t have been a better stay for us and Daniel was amazing, taking care of our every need. Will stay again.

Great little place enjoyed so much more than the hotels in Santa Rosa super close to the blue hole the host is great and super nice guy it was a rare hot day in March so I contacted him about it was over and had it cooled off in no time at all will try and stay here on all future visits highly recommend

Great Host and Stay

Girlfriend and I stayed in town for the 2023 eclipse and had a great stay! Daniel was an amazing host. He reached out the day of our stay to help with directions and provide check in info. He also responded within minutes of us sending a text on the day of our checkout. The property was great as well. It’s just far enough out of Santa Rosa to see the night sky well, and also has a beautiful view of the nearby mountains. With Santa Rosa being less than a 10 minute drive away, it was nice having privacy along with the convenience of going into town. The property was clean, and had every amenity we could want. For anyone that has an interest in astronomy, the site is also great for stargazing. We brought our telescopes out and could easily see many objects in the Messier catalog with a small refractor. Couldn’t recommend highly enough, if we’re in the area we’ll be booking again.

Cute little house with a nice view

Awesome house for the price! Pretty clean for a trailer- seriously a deal you can't beat. Owners are very nice and quick at responding. Would definitely stay again!

Remote but close

Pay attention to directions provided. Instead of two hotel rooms, we found this quiet gem. It's no 4 star hotel but bedding looked new and we had a full kitchen in a remote location. Would definitely use again for Blue Hole and Perch Lake visits.

Perfect place, perfect spot, everything you need!

We were in Santa Rosa for a family gathering, usually book a hotel but booked this since it’s one of the only rentals and wanted to try something different.. couldn’t have been more pleased. It was very clean, had everything we needed, beds were very comfortable, and in a beautiful setting! Also not far from all of Santa Rosa’s best attractions & the hosts were very responsive/accommodating . Highly recommend. We will be back!

True Rural Southwest New Mexico!

What a great stay! The country house is clean, cozy, safe, and functional! Daniel is a super host and met us and gave us a tour upon out arrival. Nice cozy kitchen to make meals- good stock of plates and utensils, etc. Super comfy beds and lots of closet space to hang clothes- washer and dryer , too to bring home clean clothes! Nice size bathroom and the wifi power and cell service was great! Most if all - suoer clean!!! The location is perfect if you want to experience country living in SE NM and it is 3 miles ( roughly) from downtown Santa Rosa and only about an hour and a half from Albuquerque city living (restaurants, malls, etc.). Its a perfectly simple country home with modern conveniences; it was exactly what we needed. We will be back!! Thank you Daniel!!!

Country house Santa Rosa Great little place in the country grilled out on the porch two nights of our three night stay you can see the Milky Way on a clear night house was clean and inviting beds were as good as any high-end hotel I’ve stayed in the owners are very helpful and nice would stay again

Santa Rosa

Property was clean and beds were good. Quiet and only a few minutes out of town. Owner was available if needed and checked in several times to see if we needed anything. We are a family of 4 who prefer a vrbo vs. a hotel everywhere we travel. This was perfect for a few days diving at blue hole. You can't beat this for the price.

From the looks of the outside, we really we're expecting a lot from the place. But, once inside it was comfy and homey. It was on a country road which was kinda bumpy, and the directions to get to it were not the best, but we found it okay and had a nice stay. Nice and quiet and peaceful there. The kitchen needs few more things stocked to cook with and some sharper knives, but we cooked in and had a nice visit with family. Enjoyed the Roku on the tv, sat back and relaxed and watched some movies. Beds slept good and no noise from the city traffic. We would recommend this place!
