Great house and location. We had 3 families together and had plenty of space for adults and kids. The pool was a big hit and the front lawn for playing. Definitely recommend!

We rented this home for our daughter’s wedding. The location was convenient and the hosts responded quickly to messages. However, several issues affected our stay.After booking, we received a separate agreement by email with rules we hadn’t seen in the VRBO listing and confusing references to another short term rental platform charges.Our biggest concern was access and security. We hadn’t received an entry code before arrival. The hosts promptly supplied it when contacted, but the keypad battery was low and the door wouldn’t open, leaving our group, including my 79-year-old parents, outside with luggage. We were directed through unlocked garage and house doors. The issue wasn’t repaired during our stay, leaving us unable to securely lock up while away and still get back in. The hosts claim there was a key but it was not seen & 14 guests a single key would not have been sufficient anyway. The upstairs floors were very squeaky, both staircases were steep, and the futon was uncomfortable. Closets were difficult to access or crowded with stored items, limiting space for wedding clothes. The basement bunk beds were a welcome option that wasn’t clear from the photos.The listing mentioned a cat on the grounds, but we encountered it in the garage and later inside the house, a concern with a highly allergic family member.We appreciated the location and responsiveness, but the unresolved security issue and comfort concerns mean we wouldn’t stay again.

Thank you for choosing our home for your family's stay during your daughter's wedding weekend, and congratulations to the couple. We're sorry the stay fell short in several ways. On the lock: we tested it before your arrival and again after your departure, and it was working both times. We're sorry for the trouble getting in, and our entry code is shared the week of each stay — we're tightening up how we confirm guests have it before they arrive. The rental agreement goes to every guest after booking so expectations are clear in writing, and we'll review the wording to make sure nothing in it is confusing. On the cat: he lives on the grounds and is mentioned in the listing, but he is not allowed in the house — we're allergic too, so we understand the concern. He has no way in on his own, so he can only have gotten inside if someone let him in or left a door open. We pride ourselves on our guest reviews, so this stay was an outlier for us. We did appreciate that you left the home clean and followed the checkout instructions. We're using the rest of your feedback on comfort and storage so future guests have an enjoyable visit. The week was wonderful! The pool was clean and warm. The house meet all our expectations! The house had plenty of space, bedrooms, large dining area, included all necessities: toiletries, towels, kitchen equipment, etc. we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!!
