The Hideaway Cottage

This cottage is located in Lancaster in the heart of Amish country. Only a short drive away from popular tourist destinations. Surrounded by authentic country beauty, this setting is a peaceful, relaxing get-a-way, perfect for a small family or couple! It has a small porch and yard. Great if you have a small pet!

Unfortunately, we do not have access to a washer or dryer but the nearest laundromat is around 7 minutes away, located in Gap.

Guests have access to the whole property and are welcome to walk the local horse pasture.

Located in a small neighborhood with three other cottages.
Our prices include all fees. No hidden fees.

This cottage is a wonderful place to stay! We enjoyed our stay and can not wait to go back again. The location is perfect for getting to the best places in Lancaster County. Jenna our host was very quick to respond and provided all the essentials for a wonderful stay at the cabin.

What an amazing place to stay! I absolutely loved my time here and cannot wait to come back. The host was warm, welcoming, and everything was exactly as described. When I was a child, I would go to Lancaster every November with my family-if I make this an annual trip for myself, I will be staying in THIS cabin. Amazing and beautiful all around!

We really enjoyed our stay at The Hideaway Cottage in Gap. Jenika is an excellent host! The property is very well maintained and very clean. The check-in and check-out process is simple and well explained. The Wi-Fi signal strength is excellent. Our dog also loved the place. We had the use of the nearby horse pasture to walk her and let her run about.

Cabin was lovely! It was just far enough out to be private but had plenty of things to do around the area. The fire pit was great and we used that to roast marshmallows. Would recommend
