Georgian grade 11 listed town house dating back to 1774, high ceilings, original fireplaces, wooden floors, sunny courtyard, spacious interior designed rooms, amazing restaurants and wine bars a stones throw away and all so close to the sea.
The house located within the Elizabethan ramparts in historic Berwick upon Tweed; England's most northerly coastal town, which has changed hands between England and Scotland 13 times. The town boasts magnificent views over the Northumberland coast. Many walks start from the doorstep, along the preserved town walls, the coastal path to St Abbs, or beside the river, spotting seals by the town's three bridges.
Berwick's narrow streets are filled with individual restaurants, pubs, shops and on the outskirts lie the main supermarkets. A five minute walk to The Maltings Art Centre, for cultural theatre, music and films. The main train line station has frequent trains to Newcastle (50mins), Durham or Edinburgh (45 mins). Nearby attractions include Holy Island Lindisfarne 10 miles, and Alnwick castle.
The house itself sleeps 6, large enough for an extended family, or to meet up with friends. The house is close to restaurants, wine bars and independent shops.
Please note a minimum of 7 nights in school holidays.

This is a great base for exploring the beautiful Scottish Border region together with the picturesque coast and countryside of Northumberland.
The house consists of;
Ground floor, entrance , bedroom 1 with ensuite .
1st floor ; Drawing room, kitchen , bathroom.
2nd floor ; 2 bedrooms, access 2nd bedroom through the 1st.
Parking, free parking out the back on the harbour , access through courtyard and walk through vennel.
All bedrooms have feather quilts and pillows, linen bed linen and electric blankets.
Large double Induction cooker, coffee machine and all kitchen equipment.
