Waterview Retreat w/ Screened Porch & Firepit

Proudly presenting, The Lakeside Shanty. This remodeled 1960's cabin offers the ideal escape. Start your mornings with coffee and a good book on the screened-in porch, spend your afternoons paddling across the lake, and end your evenings roasting marshmallows by the fire pit under the stars.

Guests will enjoy:
- views from porch of small lake
- walking distance to Lake Hudson
- 20 minute drive to Chimney Rock Lake
- 47 miles to Grand Lake O'The Cherokees
- kayaks with dollies for easy transport to water. (Lifejackets and a signed waiver are required).

For your safety, there are two outdoor security cameras—one by the front door and one by the back door. There are no cameras inside the cabin.

Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Keep all beds unmade. Rinse any used dishes and place in sink. Don't forget any personal items.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
You understand use of kayaks is at your own risk. You accept full responsibility for bodily injury arising from use of kayaks. Lifejackets required.
All property within Cardinal Cove is private. No hunting is allowed.
A retaining wall is located at the back of cabin. For your safety do not stand on the retaining wall or use the rear stairs. Please use main entrance.

We had an absolutely amazing time in this beautiful, cozy little cabin. My husband and I needed a little getaway alone to refresh, relax and spend some quality time together. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. The cabin was so beautiful and relaxing. The property had such beautiful views. We highly recommend this listing. The host was so easy to communicate with and went above and beyond making this stay as amazing as it was. Thank you for sharing your shanty with us.

The home was amazing from the coziness of the home to the view of the lake! My wife and I enjoyed the walks and enjoyed watching the deer out in the yard. We would definitely recommend this home to anyone!

We came to Pryor for the weekend so our daughter could attend a conference at Creekside. The cabin was perfect for our needs and provided a quiet respite. We enjoyed leisurely walks through the beautiful lake side neighborhood and kayaking in Lake Hudson. Tammy was attentive and kind. The cabin exceeded our expectations.

Quiet location, clean and pleasant stay overall! Mild disappointment that the front door camera was mounted inside the porch, not outside of it.

Thanks for the feedback. Because the property is in a remote location we have a security camera on the front porch. It’s there strictly for safety and property security. We respect our guests privacy. The camera is not actively monitored during guests stays.
