Great property! Spacious and clean. Fully stocked kitchen with everything needed to cook when eating in, plenty of towels and linens in the bathrooms/bedrooms, and we appreciated having beach towels available as well. We loved the covered dock and the beach was an easy walk across the street.

Great beach house! Beautifully furnished, comfortable beds, great kitchen and plenty of fun games and puzzles for the kids. Plenty of space for parking and a 3 minute walk to the inter coastal waterway for fishing. We caught several decent size crabs right from the dock. The beach was also easily accessible. Eric and Regina were wonderful to work with and very responsive to emails and questions. We highly recommend The Big Bama Beach House for a great stay in Gulf Shores!

The place was great. Big enough for the 13 of us. Had our choice between the pool, the bay or the beach. Since there were so many jelly fish it was a short walk to lagoon peir . Which was a great place with all the kids. We enjoyed fishing off the peir and catching hermit crabs. Close enough to the stores, restaurants and attractions. The small balcony upstairs needs to be redone. The host was quick to respond. It had everything we needed. We will rent again.

I enjoyed the area surrounding this property. Although the owner accused me of falsely reporting not having hot water upon arrival . The place wasn’t clean enough for my standards . The place also appeared to be used for personal use often. The pictures look significantly better than the actual property. There was also water leaking onto the patio from the home above.

We enjoyed Stephanie's visit to Big Bama. I did not accuse her of reporting of false report of no hot water. I sent a maintenance person the next morning and they reported all was fine with the hot water tank and the guest had used all of the water in the 80 gallon hot water heater and it needed to catch up. This is what I told Stephanie, and it seems she misinterpreted the information. She never reported any issues with housekeeping until after she departed the property, which did not give us any issues to address the problem. The guest wanted to cancel 72 hours before arriving because of a family emergency and they had not purchased trip insurance. I asked her to confirm if she did not have trip insurance, I would still offer a full reimbursement if they needed to cancel. I did not hear back from her. The property has limited personal use, which is an unusual and unsubstantiated claim by the guest. The review by the guest is unwarranted and we would have addressed any issues if reported, just like the call about no hot water.
