Located in lovely Coshocton County, McKee Farmhouse was built in the mid 1800's, the house still boasts original woodwork and fireplace.
Each room has its own unique style and provides comfort for our guests. The house has central air and electric heat on the first floor. The second floor has an ac window unit in each of the bedrooms. The second floor does not have duct-work, so it can be much cooler in the winter months, but we have plenty of extra blankets and comforters to help keep you warm.
Being an old farmhouse, it comes with some imperfections and quirks. It definitely has "Anne of Green Gables" or "Grandma's house" vibes. We are striving to update things as we are able, but the farmhouse is original to our family farm, and with each imperfection, there is often a memory or story behind it . It is a step back in time.
While we do all we can to keep out little critters, because it is an old farmhouse in the country, occasionally a mouse will make its way inside.
Not far from the house is the McKee Barn. A classic of Coshocton County. A porch swing makes sitting on the covered porch with a view of the barn, pasture and woods a relaxing experience.
Guests are welcome to explore the rolling hills, pastures and woods on the farm. A favorite hunting spot for several guests, McKee Farm is home to many deer and turkey.
