This spacious two-bedroom, one and a half bath, apartment is located in the garden level of a historical Capitol Hill rowhouse.

There are eight stairs to enter the apartment at the front and a ground level entrance in the back.

Guests have full access and complete privacy inside the apartment, interior courtyard and back patio.

Guests may enjoy the alley behind the house, which is on Historical DC's walking tour. It features a speakeasy and 10 murals celebrating DC residents and landmarks, perfect for selfies and family pics. Its not uncommon to see a photoshoot or an artist painting in the alley.

Host lives upstairs in a separate unit. Guests may occasionally hear soft sounds, which we promise are not ghosts of this 1880 rowhouse.

Great fresh and modern apartment in a wonderful historic home! Location is perfect of you are visiting for work or leisure in Capitol Hill or National Mall area. Walkable to several great restaurants and right on the C43 bus line--10 minutes to Union Station. Taxi and Uber fares as far away as Convention Center 12-15. My boys and I had a great stay and Brad is a great host.
