It was very very small. Because it was raining, we did not get to relax outside and enjoy the lake. Not our hosts fault. But the space inside does not allow for relaxing. It was as described, a teeny tiny cabin. We looked at it as an adventure. Eric was very nice and a great host.
We loved the teeny tiny cabin, quirks and all. You need to be ok with very tight quarters and lots of stairs, including a steep ladder into the loft. The property and the lake are beautiful and oh so peaceful. Eric was very attentive and had lots of great details to share about the property. We would rent it again.
Had a great stay at the tiny cottage. This place may not be for everyone, but it is definitely for some of us. Cottage jas everything you will need for the stay. The owner takes pride in his place and wonderful with any communication and give a great welcoming greet and tour. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again if i am in the area.
Beautiful spot. Truly nice cottage. King bed fits under eave on one side of loft so a bit claustrophobic and hard to access. With loft window open incinerator smells in loft. Steps into water off the dock are extremely slippery. All these things can be managed fine, but maybe could be improved? My most passionate suggestion is to raise the price just a bit and allow free use of boats. We were unsure of how boat use works...just trust between host and customer?
Very cute and reasonably priced property! Lots of unique touches. Do wish the "incidentals" were included but also fairly priced. Noticed a cleaning fee mentioned as separate on a note in the cottage but in the listing mentioned all fees included nothing hidden. Seems to have been put up as to prevent big messes from guests. However the cottage was in a layer of a dust & the shower had a considerable amount of mold. The hosts were absolutely sweet and very accommodating. Just little cleanliness that would've greatly improved the experience! Otherwise really loved it, very peaceful location.
Very cool place! The lake and stars are beautiful. I recommend going for a walk on the gravel road, we saw loons and a beaver swimming. The owner gives very thorough instructions and there are signs posted to help visitors know what to do. Safety is also considered as there are two ring cameras on both doors of the residence facing towards the entrance and the dock. The toilet is something to consider, especially if you are sensitive to smoke smells. However, everything worked as described. The toilet was actually easier to use than it seemed.Overall, it was a unique and functional place in a gorgeous setting.
A fantastic property, and a wonderful place to get away from the grind of daily life. The host, Eric; is extremely friendly and was very helpful, not only accommodating our stay, but also provided some wonderful recommendations as to attractions and activites nearby and such. We will absolutely be returning
The teeny tiny Cottage was a great place to stay. Not for everyone so read the description which explains all that in good detail. Very well run, super clean and just a beautiful location... no surprises.
Eric’s tiny cottage was so amazing! It’s an adventure getting there in winter but that’s part of the fun if you’re up for it. The cottage has all the cooking equipment you could need, great furnace to keep you cozy, and a really cool eco friendly incinerating toilet which is easy to use. My husband and I loved this completely unique location and we hope to be back in the summer to see what it’s like that time of year
Lovely little cottage RIGHT on the water. The only complaint I have is the bedding could be updated ( stains on comforter). Otherwise a special little place.
Really enjoyed my stay at the teeny tiny cottage. I can tell that the cottage meant the world for host Eric. Would love to come again in the summer as well!
Adorable cozy cottage on Lake Eden! Perfect for a relaxing quiet getaway. The cottage is right on the lake as pictured. Eric was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely visit again
