Relax and rejuvenate with your family at this beautiful, beachfront getaway in Amish Country!
Located only 10 minutes from Shipshewana, Indiana; 40 minutes to Notre Dame.
In the summer months enjoy swimming and building sand castles with your family on the beach, right out the back door on the shallow, sandy beach area! The shallow area is perfect for swimming, with a very gradual slope.
In winter months enjoy watching the snow fall over the lake in the 3 seasons room as you play board games, or play a game of pool with your family in the game room, both rooms are heated.
THE SPACE:
This beautifully updated home is situated directly on the water. With all of the personal touches, the Lakeside Getaway is ready for you to book your stay!
SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS:
There is a queen bed and a set of bunk beds in each of the 2 bedrooms, as well as a full size futon in the game room. The couch in the living room also converts into a queen size bed. Linens are provided.
KITCHEN:
A full kitchen includes a refrigerator, stove/oven combo, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, and coffee maker. There is a Keurig and a slow drip coffee maker. Have a cup of coffee as you sit on the deck and enjoy the gorgeous lake view!
BATHROOMS:
Bathroom 1 is conveniently located in the hallway by the bedrooms with a bathtub/ shower combo. Bathroom 2 is just off the kitchen with a walk in shower.
LAUNDRY:
A washer and dryer are available, with laundry soap provided.
GAME ROOM:
Pool table, ping pong, foosball, spike ball, corn hole, and (board games are located in the 3 seasons room)
ENJOY THE OUTDOORS:
You can kayak around the lake with the two kayaks provided at the house. Beach toys and chairs are provided as you enjoy a perfect day = sand + sun + water!
Unwind in the backyard with a game of corn hole or spike ball (stored in the Game Room). Cook out on the grill on the deck. Enjoy s'mores around the campfire, we provide fire wood and fire starter. It's the perfect spot to watch the sun set!

We are located only 1.5 miles away from the Dutch Creek Farm, a zoo that is family owned and operated! Shipshewana has much to offer, from shows at The Bluegate Event Center, to events at the MEC, the outdoor flea market (Tuesday and Wednesday, May- Sept) and so many shoppes downtown!
In the winter months you can drive through Shipshewana Lights of Joy (check the website for hours). And of course, so many shopping options provide hours (maybe days) of enjoyment!
**The owners prefer to have no Wi-Fi or TV so that Guests can unplug and experience the peaceful, serene atmosphere.
