The ground floor boasts an open plan living, dining, kitchen area that opens onto the beachfront, poolside deck, plus a twin room and main bathroom/laundry. The high pitched ceilings and gourmet kitchen are the feature of this holiday home and will be the ideal spot to enjoy family time together. It is also perfect for a romantic getaway with the large ensuite with a deep soaking bath upstairs opening right up to the spacious main bedroom with views to the Coral Sea. For families there is a second ensuited queen bedroom upstairs and a third bedroom downstairs offering two single beds with a third bathroom. Find yourself relaxing in the open plan living/entertaining area of the property, perhaps read a book on the large deck area and then cool down in your own private plunge pool. Fully equipped with everything to cater for your next holiday. Fish on a fence now offers free WIFI so you can catch up on some Netflix when you tire of the beach. Part of a duplex, Fish on a Fence still offers privacy, peace and tranquility with your own private pool and beachside deck. Located just a few minutes drive from shops, restaurants and kids park and splash pad at Wongaling Beach. Once your booking is confirmed we shall email you giving you directions and access information for the property. You will go directly to the property. There is a key safe located there for you to gain access. We shall give the key safe location and access code. We will be available for as little or as much assistance as you require. We are just a phone call away. Happy to assist with “What to Do” whilst staying at Mission Beach. Wongaling Beach is considered by locals to be the central hub of the Mission Beach area. It offers a large range of the exclusive and sought after absolute beachfront accommodation on Reid Road and Koda Street. Beachfront properties are also available on Banfield Parade being across the road from the beach. The small shopping village at Wongaling Beach (easy to identify thanks to the Big Cassowary sculpture) has a gym, cafe and hair salon. There is a drive in bottle shop at Mission Beach Resort. Adjacent to this complex is Woolworths which has the Bendigo Bank a smaller Bottle shop, pharmacy and cafe. The supermarket is closed on Sundays. You can also find the service station – open 7 days - at Woolworths complex. ANZ and Westpac ATM’s are situated within Woolworths. Dining out in Wongaling Beach – Mission Beach Resort offers bistro style dining, Spicy Thai Hut offers fab Thai food and there is the Italian, Cafe Rustica. Wongaling also offers a great kids playground, skate park, basketball half court and 'Splash'N'Dunk' water play park, this is all situated in the beachfront parkland at Rotary Park. Just a short 5-10 minute drive will take you to the village centre of Mission Beach with a great range of café’s bars and specialty shops. The Mini Mart and Leny’s fruit and vegetable store are open on Sundays when Woolworths is closed. The first and third Sunday of each month there a markets in the Ulysses park at Mission Beach. The Mission Beach Monster Markets are held on the last Sunday of each month from Easter Sunday until November. These are located at Ulysses park at Mission Beach. It is recommended to have a car when staying at Wongaling Beach. Another option available is hiring a push bike. This is a great way to get out and about Mission Beach. Riding along the beach is a real treat.
