Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Pros:Accurate description of property (with exception of parking restrictions)Comfortable for six adults and two aged 0-2CleanComfortable bedsPlenty of linensGreat location and incredible viewsBeautiful, clean beachCons:Only con is a limit of two vehicles for a condo unit that sleeps 7 adults (additional vehicles must find parking outside of resort which is incredibly inconvenient and risk to safety of vehicle).

Thank you for sharing such positive feedback about your stay and what you enjoyed about the property. We are glad the space, cleanliness, linens, beds, location, and beach all worked well for your group. We regret the inconvenience caused by the two-vehicle limit and the difficulty of arranging additional parking. We understand your concern about both the inconvenience and the safety of vehicles, and we will look into how this is communicated and managed.

Apartment was really clean, the rooms were spacious, especially the master room, with a small living room. The beds were very comfy and they included extra pillows. The dining room accommodated my entire family along with the fully stocked kitchen. Planning to come back to this place again.

We appreciate your detailed suggestions about cleaning tools, kitchen utensils, pitchers, the ice machine, counter spray, and oven mitts, and we are sorry these items were not available during your stay. 2/10 Terrible

Disliked: Cleanliness, location, listing accuracy
Our stay was extremely disappointing due to the condition of the property, which was not accurately disclosed. The complex was under heavy construction, with debris and construction dust everywhere—including around and in the pool, hot tub, and common areas (the pool maintenance guy even commented that he was surprised units were being rented out). We dealt with constant drilling noise all week instead of a relaxing beach environment, along with persistent cigarette and marijuana odors. One elevator was under construction and covered in boards, which felt unsafe. Beach access was frequently blocked by construction crews, forcing us to carry all of our gear and five children through active work areas while crews were power washing and drilling/working directly above us. The grounds were unsafe—our children could not walk barefoot due to nails and construction materials. The assigned parking space was unusable for an SUV due to a sharp angle, forcing us to park outside the complex. The unit itself was underwhelming, with visible water damage and very minimal amenities. Unlike every other stay we’ve had in the panhandle over the past 10 years, the beach and umbrella service was not included without an added fee, which was very disappointing. There were no games, puzzles, or activities in the complex and not nearly enough blankets, leading to uncomfortable sleep. This experience fell far below expectations. We will not return to this unit, this complex, or Pensacola Beach.

Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. We sincerely apologize that your stay did not meet expectations, as this is not the standard we strive to uphold at Southern Vacation Rentals. We understand how disruptive construction, noise, and limited access can be, and we regret the impact this had on your experience. Please note that construction notices were posted on booking platforms at the time of booking; however, we understand how these conditions may have felt more extensive than anticipated. Regarding beach service and in-unit amenities, these are not offered as part of the amenities and as such these may be left inside the unit by the individual owners. Please note that a list of provided items is located in the What to Bring section of the guest portal that is sent to all guest communications. Your feedback is invaluable as this helps to enhance the overall guest experience and we hope to have the opportunity to regain your patronage for a future stay. Your Southern Team
