Great property. Great location. Fun for the kids to play pool. A few little maintenance odds and ends that need to be worked on, but nothing too significant. Wonderful place.

The location was perfect. The kitchen is well equipped. Lots of nice little touches. However, be aware that there is no fenced backyard for Fido, so all potty breaks are leashed walks. Also, there are two sets of decently steep stairs and no baby gates. So this is not suitable for families with small children or toddlers. Finally, the bedrooms do not have blackout curtains, and the thermostat is limited to 69 for the air-conditioning, which is fine for the first and second floor, but the bedrooms upstairs still get a little too warm.

The townhouse was beautiful and conveniently located. We felt safe, comfortable, and well rested. I especially liked logging by the fireplace each evening.

Horrible experience -Upon entering, there were no outside lights left on and trash bins were lined up. Carpets were very stained and the home had a sour smell. We didn't dare remove our shoes. There was trash left out on the porch off the living room. There was only 1 pillow for each queen bed and they did not have pillow cases. When I found the other pillows, there was a dirty towel thrown on top of them. We needed launder all the pillow cases and covers to ensure they were clean. Also concerned that none of the sheets were changed as I found a hair, not mine, as I was making the bed. There was also very few towels and couldn't find extras. The bathroom sinks did not drain in the Master bathroom. The tub drain also backs up. The kitchen floor was sticky. The kitchen cabinets are a shamble and there is junk in almost every drawer. We did not feel comfortable cooking or eating in. The microwave is filthy. When entering the downstairs to the pool table there was spilled liquid on the floor, bottle caps, and trash on the floor. There was also broken furniture and debris inside and out.  The major concern was the back outside door was left open creating a significant safety risk. It looks and smells like a fraternity. Itrip minimally responded and never sent anyone to fix the drains or clean. They offered a small refund for ruining our vacation! Place is a dump, don't do it. I am very suspicious of the other reviews. This is my 1st bad experience with VRBO. Rethinking

Everything was great! It’s in a quiet neighborhood but close enough to shopping, food and easy access to downtown Portland or getting out of the city if needed. The grandkids came over during the day and hung out with us, we love the pool table! Stayed here last spring also. It fits our needs exactly.

We had a lovely time staying at this townhome with our family of 6 people. The place was a nice size for the 6 of us, and was very roomy given that it encompasses 3 stories. The kitchen was extremely well stocked, which made it super easy to have our morning coffee (loved the coffee bar area), and also cook meals together. The pool table was also a lot of fun.

Would absolutely stay again!

Perfect place to enjoy Portland. It’s centrally located to all the venues we wanted to explore, a super easy spot to find, and the pool table on the first floor made unwinding at the end of the day a joy. I plan to stay here again next year!

Portland Vacation

Wonderful, quiet and slightly remote. The Metzger Townhome was a respite from the city that we needed. Clean, comfortable and with plenty of amenities. Will recommend and definitely will stay again.
