I split my time between the Smoky Mountains, the Washinton DC area and the West Coast (Las Vegas) ....and I absolutely love hosting. My family and I enjoy hiking, exploring new restaurants, and traveling with our Boston Terriers (we have three—two are adventure pros, and our sweet rescue Alfred is… well… a lovable rascal 😄).

Why they chose this property
Sherwood Ridge sits in one of those rare Smoky Mountain spots that feels tucked away and peaceful, yet still incredibly close to everything. The neighborhood is quiet, full of tall trees, mountain views, and that cozy “cabin in the woods” feeling — but you’re just minutes from all the fun in Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, and the National Park.
What I enjoy most is the calm mornings here: stepping out onto the deck with a cup of coffee, listening to the birds, watching the fog roll over the mountains, and actually hearing nothing else. It feels like a little reset button every time.

What makes our cabin truly unique is that we redesigned it to feel warm, inviting, and exactly the way we like to travel as a multigenerational family. More than just a beautifully updated space, it’s a feeling — a place where everyone can relax, reconnect, and make memories together.
We blended modern luxury with thoughtful, upscale amenities: four king bedrooms so no one has to compromise, cozy gathering spaces, a fully stocked coffee bar, and outdoor decks made for slow mornings and long conversations. The top-deck hanging daybed, hot tub with mountain views, and the game lounge downstairs were all chosen with our own family in mind — places where the kids play, the adults unwind, and grandparents feel just as comfortable as everyone else.
It’s more than a cabin; it’s an experience we’re grateful to share with you.
