Mighty Wind-mountaintop views Lost River chalet

30+ acres of private mountainside. Breathtaking panoramic views greet you from every window, including from the wrap around deck and vaulted A-frame style window with sweeping views of Lost River ridge lines.

Just 5 miles from scenic Lost River State Park, you’re surrounded by some of the best local hiking, horseback riding, and outdoor recreation. Private hiking available on our 30 acres, with breathtaking views throughout.

Mighty Wind Lodge features one king bedroom with full bath en suite and a private balcony overlooking the mountains. The second bedroom has two queen beds and plenty of space to unwind. Bedroom three features one queen bed. There is a shared full bath between the queen bedrooms.

Lost River Valley features low light pollution so it’s a wonderful opportunity for star gazing!

This is a beautiful home with world-class views, and Kathryn was such a generous and helpful host! The home was spotlessly clean and thoughtfully furnished with quality pieces (it felt like borrowing a friend's home rather than staying in a corporate rental stocked with Amazon Basics). Everything worked, everything was clean, and it felt like Kathryn thought of everything - even sending a pack and play for our son to use, which we loved. The location is a little remote, and that's exactly what we wanted - it's how you get to wake up to see sunrise over the most gorgeous mountains. But we were a short and easy drive from groceries and great pizza, and the wifi was fast and consistent - we had a very nice, comfortable, cozy stay in a beautiful place. Would highly recommend!
