A wooded corner of a former horse pasture hosts the newest tinyhouse at Innisfree. The perfect getaway for couples who want to unplug and reconnect. Everything you'll need and nothing you don't including a comfy bed, a beautiful view, full facilities and the great outdoors. There's just one queen size bed so anyone else would be camping out on the floor or outside, but this is the perfect retreat to get away from the city and the grounds and read and think or just enjoy the natural setting.
This tinyhouse for two (or three if that third person is very small) is in a wonderful spot on a 70 acre former horse farm. There are trails to walk, two ponds, deer, ducks, geese and all kinds of wildlife. You'll have an outdoor fire ring, table and chairs and excellent seclusion and privacy. Need more space?
The site is rustic with some steps into the tinyhouse and the Murphy bed requires some strength to lift into its upright position. You have the entire tinyhouse to yourself and an area next to it with a fire ring, chairs and a small grill and table. The property is over 70 acres with just four widely-spaced units so you have tremendous space to explore and privacy as well.
We don't live in town but have several helpers and caretakers when we're not on site to help with whatever may come up during your stay. You probably won't need us or anyone. It's a rural setting -- the tiny sits in an old horse pasture, looking out at the woods. There are trails and ponds on the property and Oglebay Resort is about 5 minutes away. Wheeling and Elm Grove WV are about 15 minutes by car. You'll need a car to get around.
There is a gravel drive right to the tinyhouse, but in tough winter conditions 4WD or AWD will really help. Any vehicle that rides very low should probably park at the top of the hill, about 250' from the tiny.
