Willow Waterfront Lodge, Auburn
Imagine yourself relaxing in this charming 2 bedroom home just 6.4 miles from both Auburn`s campus & downtown Opelika! You will soak in the serenity from our comfortable porch overlooking the pond, where you can fish, paddle & ponder life with the neighborhood ducks. Our newly remodeled lodge-style home is entirely handicap accessible and ideal for a serene stay while attending all the exciting local events. It can be booked with next-door Pond House on the Plains that holds 14 people.
Our Willow Waterfront Lodge near The Loveliest Village on the Plains (only 6.4 miles from the AU campus!) offers a porch with a ceiling fan and comfy chairs overlooking the yard with a dock, and a bench for enjoying the pond at the water`s edge. The house is handicap accessible. There are two king bedrooms with an ensuite bathroom in each. Two twin mattresses with all bedding are provided to put on the floor in the room/s of your choice for up to two people, plus a pack-and-play crib bed for the baby. Our brand new kitchen has everything you need to create meals and memories together. The lodge-style living room has a beautiful timber-beamed ceiling, a reclining couch, a 43-inch Smart TV, and 552 Mbps WiFi throughout. The laundry room attached to the kitchen has a washer and dryer for your exclusive use. This home can be booked with the next-door Pond House on the Plains (which holds 14 people), around the corner on the same pond.
You will have exclusive access to the whole cottage and yard. Neighbors have shared access to the pond, which is used infrequently. This home can be booked with Pond House on the Plains (a 5-bedroom home that holds 14) and is connected by a walking bridge over a little stream into the pond.
Your host, Jenny, lives close by and is happy to help in any way!
Willow Waterfront Lodge is in the quiet little neighborhood of Whatley Farms Community on Lee Road 112, conveniently connecting Moore`s Mill Road and AL Highway 51.
Walking and driving are both excellent ways to get around the quiet neighborhood. It is a short 6 or 7 mile drive to the downtown of both Auburn and Opelika,
At the Willow Waterfront Lodge, we aim to extend genuine hospitality and thoughtful touches to make your stay an experience to remember!
Where else can you get a 30-60 minute scenic ride through the lovely adjoining woods and fields on a vintage firetruck? This is also the perfect prop for taking unique group photos!
A johnboat and paddle will be provided so you can more fully enjoy the pond. You are welcome to bring your own fishing poles and additional non-motorized boats such as kayaks, canoes, and paddle boards. The Willow Waterfront Lodge is the second house on your right after entering the `Whatley Farms Community` neighborhood.
