I was disappointed with the cleanliness of the house. There were lots of bugs, mouse droppings and dog hair. We reported these things to the owner and received no remediation to the complaint. I expected a refund of some sort. But after two weeks of emails back and forth, no offer was made to rectify our stay. The dog hair was found in the bed sheets. The mouse droppings were found in the kitchen. There were two adult sized bed bugs found in one bedroom. There were lots of bugs found throughout the house. It seemed that the house was not vacuumed prior to our stay. We really liked the location of the house, but unfortunately will not be booking next year due to the issues we had.

We take feedback seriously and immediately had a pest control company come out and do an inspection. They reported no bed bugs. We contacted Vrbo late night before the guests checked out immediately after we were notified and handled the situation per their guidance. Will continue to strive to make the listing better.
